Even more confusing is that both physical and metaphysical hearts seem to exist in the KH-verse.

As seen with Terra's confusion when the Evil Queen requests he bring her the former.

It leaks into the translation too.

In Japanese the heart that the series normally mentions is called a "kokoro" but the physical blood pump is called a "Shinzou".

In the Japanese version the Evil Queen asks Terra to bring Snow White's "Shinzou" and Terra asks if she means "kokoro".

That's. I dunno how to make sense of that. Why would Terra assume that.

Damned Japanese Western Disneyfied Fairy Tale people can't use the proper words for what they mean.

Darkness may not necessarily be a force of evil, but light is definitely a force of good.

And before you bring up Eraqus, I'd like to point out he had darkness in his heart, like everyone else in the Worlds except for eight individuals. His contempt and hatred of darkness were, ironically, fueled/facilitated by the darkness in his heart.

I don't really think there is a difference at this point. There is a very short list of possible women that the Princesses of Heart can be if they want to stick to Disney Princesses or otherwise iconic leading ladies after removing the previous six, Ariel and Mulan from the candidacy.

Using Light for evil is what the Angel Stars and the Nightmare Light element Dream Eaters do. And they were attuned to Light despite being creatures of darkness. So light being used for malevolent purposes is completely possible. It just doesn't have the corruptive effects darkness has when in contact with the evil in the hearts of man that hides within their personal darkness.

Am I in the minority that I'm not really sold on the cell shading for 100 Acre Woods? And think its a bit distracting?

That's not cel shading.

It kind of looks to much like sticker books rather then the picture book look I assume they are going for.

I'm not entirely sold on the look of the 100 Acre Wood myself... though it's more because I wish they'd tried more to emulate the shadeless look of the original shorts. The shading on the 3D models make this rendition kind of rendition more resemble those more recent CGI Pooh shorts Disney's made.
