Yeah, but you don't see any other evil overlord's henchmen having such an undying devotion to treachery quite like Xehanort's lackeys do. Seriously, was there any actual Organization member who was actually, genuinely loyal to Xemnas without having some sort of ulterior motive? xD

Yeah, Vexen, Zexion and Lexaeus seemed to be against the traitors. They only wanted to corrupt Riku to counter Marluxia's plot with Sora. Everyone who wasn't Axel, Saïx, Roxas, or at CO also seemed to be loyal.
They're Nobodies. Their emotional lever is always cranked to Indifferent, full blast, unless it involves their hearts.

I have a message from another time...In the case of Organization members who controlled the basement of Castle Oblivion, I get the feeling that they were either following Xemnas out of fear or were more loyal to the cause of the Organization (i.e. regaining their hearts) than they were to Xemnas themselves.
Demyx didn't really care either way, but Luxord was becoming increasingly frustrated by being Locked Out of the Loop.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarYou know how that explanation a while back said that Sora had some of Riku's memories in his heart?
Well if Riku used to be a Xehanort, does that mean that Sora has a little Xehanort in him? Oh man, that means it Sora isn't who's everyone, it's Xehanort!
He was one step ahead of everyone all along!
Also, I guess this is sort of a possible explanation for how he was starting to brainwash Sora in the 3D special trailer, but nobody cares about that.

Umbran Climax◊I think the best scene with regards to anyone's loyalty to Xehanort is this
one.
You honestly get the sense that Xehanort could have actually killed Braig at this point and not given a fuck, and simply found another pawn.
I mean, he just looks so BORED thoughout.
And the fear in both Braig's animations and Voice-acting is palpable.
Well, that's all anyone is to Xehanort: tools and nothing more. Once it loses functionality, you discard it and find a replacement.

The fact that he started off as nothing but a bored kid on the beach of the Destiny Islands is both frightening and impressive in a way.
Side-note, if they do a POTC, Dead Man's Chest/At World's End world at some point in the future, I wonder what Tia "A touch of destiny" Dalma would have to say about Sora, Riku, and Xehanort of the "Destiny" Islands.
Xehanort: Bitch, please.

x4 And the response to that observation is zero. Not a single fuck was given that day. Or ever for that matter.
And, in a sense, Terra as well. Hence making the Terra-Riku succession scene Harsher in Hindsight.
"Hey, kid. Imma give you this Keyblade so you can one day get bodyjacked by this creepy old guy who's about to do the same to me."
"... Ok."

"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStar"Take a look at this tiny place. To the heart seeking freedom, this island is a prison, surrounded by water. And so this boy sought out to escape from his prison. He sought a way to cross over into other worlds, and he opened his heart to darkness."
Is he talking about Riku, or himself?
Deep.
It's also creepy the way he's basically laughing out some of his lines.

I have a message from another time...

I wonder what it is about Xehanort that makes everyone around him want to betray him. Then again, it's Xehanort we're talking about. If you don't backstab him first, he probably will.
