I reject all notions of this pairing.
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.Which pairing exactly? May and Winslow? They've never shown any serious sign of becoming a couple that I'm aware of.
http://www.mansionofe.comOh, I so misread this page.

Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youThis can totally be canon in my book.
The mark of a really good guest comic is when you think that yhe artist just randomly did a massive overhaul of his style.
I dunno; I've seen some very good guest strips which were wildly ironic commentary on the main comic.
= Spindriver =That reminds me of the time Randy Milholland of Something Positive fame did a guest strip for this comic.
It was...yeesh. If it was canon, then Pintsize (and Winston too given that he helped) would have crossed a Moral Event Horizon.
And here's another one, also from Milholland, where Pintsize is also a monster.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI think you mean "if it were", not "if it was".
And yeah, Randy Milholland's guest pages play Character Exaggeration to the hilt with Pintsize.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Which is missing the key question: are Milholland’s guest strips “really good”?
(I guess that I was thinking more of the “Boneularity” guest strip in Ménage à 3. Which, for that matter, I didn’t think was all that good, but which did achieve some kind of fan headcanon significance.)

= Spindriver =Hmm. Well, Winslow has motivation to go outside now.
I also like that song.
First ironically for the memes but now I actually like it.
Oh really when?Have you seen the video for that? Peak 80s/90s Halloween aesthetic.
Winslow can even get advice from Pintsize, considering Pintsize did go out with Roko once.
Or not, since that date didn't go so hot.
Maybe Winslow will learn how to bake.
Disgusted, but not surprisedOne use of the song. (RIP John..)
http://www.mansionofe.comI'd like today's comic better if Roko didn't look like she was in her mid-20's while Winslow looks like he just became a teenager.
(I know, they're robots, and for all I know Winslow is significantly older than Roko. It still looks skeevy.)
How long ago was AI supposed to have been invented anyway? Chronologically speaking I don't think any of the robots are very old. (although their subjective experience might vary)
Chronology is funky in Web Comic Time. Keep in mind we have witnessed the birth of fully humanoid bodies for robots right on-panel and that alone could have been a decade back.
With Roko in particular, she either was born only after the technology already climbed pretty high, or only existed as a disembodied entity within a server rack until then given her body attachment issues.

Winslow doesn’t appear young to me. Or, too young, at least. He’s like Tom Holland. Clearly an adult with a babyface.
Winslow comes across as a teenager to me, but 1) robots, 2) I don't think it's unreasonable to infer that he's been alive for a decent chunk of time - enough to make his own autonomous decisions as a member of society, at least - and 3) this could just be a cute, precocious crush.
The presentation of this ship could be problematic considering the different bodies, and I'm personally backing the third option. But at the end of the day, whatever.
Winslow still radiates Big Son Energy to me, and I pretty much just want him to be a well-adjusted and happy character - my exact words on Tumblr were "I want to see him get an education of his choice and grow into a fine young man".
Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.I mean, is there any reason to think Roko might reciprocate? …Outside of the doylist perspective of it being relevant to the narrative somehow.

Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.We know she's interested in dating other robots, thanks to the aforementioned scene with Pintsize. Other than that... *shrug*
Edit: As to Winslow's age, we saw when Momo was filling out job applications that AIs take an "age-equivalent" maturity test to qualify for things humans need to be 18 for.

Geez, Winslow
