Makes sense, I suppose. Would be a whole lot of processing power to compute the amount of sensory data humans get just from their skin. Keeping it capped at a certain amount or limited to only certain parts of the body would definitely streamline it.

And what is she made of that gibbing a cow didn't do any visible damage other than dislocating her finger?
I'd guess they work at a butchering facility and the cow was already opened up at the time they came in contact with it. (Plus some liberties for comedic purposes of the situation.)
If it was purely a volunteer gig like Winslow's, I would probably have used a different term. But she is earning a paycheck, just a small one.
