Yeah, she specified her bangs. She's still going to have longer hair at the end of the day.
Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down."Momo just spent a few hours dunked in a vat of chemicals for the sole purpose of restoring her long hair, but now that she knows that growing hair is as easy as spending a couple hours with her head submerged, she's going to get the same haircut she started off specifically not wanting"
Fresh-eyed movie blogThis could go on a while. "Cut it a bit longer this time." [slice] "Faye?" "Nope, still punk." [dunk] Repeat.
Just because I'm not up on terminology, "baby" bangs are different from "TERF" bangs, right?
I'd never heard the term "baby bangs" before this strip, but it looks like they're significantly shorter than "terf bangs". If not for the dialogue and context I wouldn't think Momo had bangs in this strip. I kinda want to go on a rant about how I hate the "terf bangs" meme but I'm not gonna.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.I know not of this "TERF bangs" of which you speak...
Long story short, it seems there's an internet meme combining a particular hairstyle with "Trans Exclusionary R(something) Feminists" although there's no real evidence that it's all that popular in that community. Apparently Pikachu is related to it?
I just did an image search for "terf bangs" and concluded that nobody can actually agree what constitutes terf bangs.
Pikachu accidentally got them in one game or something, just at random and without any meaning to it.
"Radical". Meaning "Extreme" and "politically and socially exclusive".
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youReturn of Skullface! (Does he have a name?) He is indeed the prefect recurring character to trigger Momo’s reactionary anti-punk instinct.
And his new spray is a Yelling Bird cameo.
Is the low-tech alttext meant to be an illegible smear?
Fresh-eyed movie blogI'm assuming it's intentional. Pretty sure it would take actual effort to get normal text to look like that in a digital medium.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...I'm gonna say no. That last word looks like "television".
Also, Motorhead > Ramones. Fight me.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117I'd have to agree, just based on the small sampling of each's music that I've heard.
Don't look at me. I was a registered Magazine addict.
= Spindriver =The blurred stinger is fixed now.
I assume what happened is either the layer was accidentally duplicated and offset or a blur effect was accidentally added to it.
Fresh-eyed movie blogboth the ramones and the sex pistols had some fairly not punk political views so i'll jump on the bandwagon and say that motorhead is the better band out of all three
[forum cryptid: it/it's]Coming at this from a UK perspective, I'd tend to assume that the Sex Pistols defined "punk attitudes". Though sure, you then have to choose which of the Pistols you're going to talk about. Probably their (situationist) manager, I imagine.
And I rather like Television. But I'm a sucker for romantic guitar solos.
= Spindriver =I personally prefer The Damned or The Clash, but to each their own.
Am I crazy? I’m fairly certain Mötorhead isn’t punk.
True. I think Momo was told to say that for the purpose of deterring any potential punks she might meet.
lemmy himself actually said somewhere that he leaned more in the punk direction than strict heavy metal, if i remember correctly
i can't find that particular quote but he did tell an interviewer: "We were not heavy metal," he snaps. "We were a rock'n'roll band. Still are. Everyone always describes us as heavy metal even when I tell them otherwise. Why won't people listen?"
lemmy also used to hang out with the damned quite a bit which is how we got this particular gem but what i get from my research here is more "they have a metal sound with punk song structures and attitudes"

[forum cryptid: it/it's]Kind of surprised that he'd consent to appearing in Brütal Legend if he says he wasn't metal.
As long as nobody starts lecturing Bubbles about memes and/or her past on the battlefield, anyways.
EDIT: Yay, pagetopper
