I thought we had a thread for Questionable Content before, but I can't seem to find it.
Anyway, I just needed to say that today's
comic bummed me out, as it did its creator. I hope Faye doesn't go through with it. There's a pretty good chance she'll have a change of heart, I think. Sven definitely needs some comeuppance - karma still needs to bite him for that time he kicked Marten out the bathroom to deal with his date. What a jackdouche.

He misses his goddamn friend. Even if he were human, this isn't creepy, this is touching. "Stay. I miss you." It's damn near heartbreaking.
Quit looking for creepers where they aren't. And there ain't one here.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117as the resident overzealous creeper hunter of this thread, I have to say that I have done this and therefore do not find it creepy.
friend-dates are funzies

I think the largest issue is that we can't really know what Station expects. Until we are shown up front and unambiguously just what Station wants, I can't make a call whether this is upsetting or sweet. Because there are ways this could be either.

"The marvel is not that the Bear posts well, but that the Bear posts at all."Guh, another Nice Guy witch hunt.
See, I'm calling this creepy because Station and Hanners are neither really at dateable places. Station is an AI, and is still working out how humans work on a psychological level, and Hanners has only recently been able to interact her peers, and when station knew her, her problems were much much worse.
Okay, maybe it's not creepy so much as exceptionally ill-advised.
And I still think a romantic relationship with an AI in charge of critical systems is an absolutely terrible idea even if both partners really want it.
Charlie Tunoku is a lover and a fighter.Friend-date isn't really the vibe I'm getting here. It doesn't help that I don't really like Station thus far. He seems a bit self-important and self-absorbed with his antics up until now, and it feels like he just expects people to indulge him.
Or maybe it's just that he's a smug holographic projection generated by a machine consciousness that appears to be trying to pick up an emotionally fragile human girl.
To one extent.
I dunno, I still don't trust AI's, especially in a world that has geth platforms

Charlie Tunoku is a lover and a fighter.... Okay then.
I... I really don't know how Station could even consider that she'd actually stay since he knows that she now has friends and a relatively good life on Earth. Given the choice in this kind of situation, would you want to leave that?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Looking after the apartment while Marigold is gone. Where else would she be?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987As I said. He misses his damn friend.
(I like how, as I type this, the line under the TV Tropes logo says, "Oh, good, CEOIII is about to settle this thing.")
I hope they work something out. I don't want to lose Hanners as a character, but at the same time........he misses his friend.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Actually, they have a very high level of self determination.

Calling her from a party into a secluded room with just you and a whole bottle of wine for her to drink? Yep.
