It’s certainly going to be hard to top. If any comic he’s done so far was to be the last, that’d be the best.

That's because most of the people here are, not to put too fine a point on it, too thin-skinned and softheadhearted to appreciate the humor.

I know it's an isolated incident, but... there's nothing funny about twitching fetuses.

I think you've confused being thin-skinned with having good taste.

The dancing fetus strip wasn't meant as a joke in and of itself, it was a direct response to silly people being offended at the previous strip, the punchline is everyone who took it seriously.

Then he didn't really need to do it as a comic, did he? If the point was to point out to people who were offended by an earlier one that it was silly, going seriously over the top wasn't a necessity. That strikes me as being extremely childish. It's not like him, from what I got when I was following the strip more closely.

My only real issue with him, for a while, was that his updates have gone from "Mondays" to "Um... I'll get back to you." When something either doesn't update regularly or leaves me bored more often than it amuses me, I give up on it.

Eh, the fetus comic had more of a Refuge in Audacity type of thing for me. I didn't particularly find it funny, but I wasn't squicked out either.

I couldn't believe so many people found the abortion strip unfunny. It renewed my faith in VG Cats as a comic.

It was definitely a high point during a bit of a lull in the comic. If memory serves, the comic hadn’t been updated in a while (shocking, I know), and it was nice to see such a lengthy update. I enjoyed the references and the depiction of just how annoying Leo could be.

I know abortion is a touchy subject for some, but considering how often the comic Crosses the Line Twice, I was surprised how many people declared “You’ve gone TO FAR this time, Pantsman!”

^ Really, when it comes to dead baby comedy, that strip was actually rather mild. A Modest Proposal, anyone?

Hmm, he actually added two comics. Go to the new comic and hit back. I guess this one is a gag of Sonic hitting the sound barrier... or the light barrier.

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.

Odd sonic comic. I did find it interesting that he referenced Sonic's original design.

After the Christmas special, everything seems worse. But that's fine, because the Christmas special was all the way at the top of 'Crowning Moment of Heartwarming'.

We're just back to the usual fare.

The Christmas special was nice, but could have used a little more work. Aeris' response would've been understandable if (for instance) she had seen Leo bustin' his ass before Christmas and wondered what was going on. As it is, it just looks like he screwed up and she didn't care.

You have to remember there the old saying "It's the thought that counts." It's not that she didn't care that he got the wrong game, it that he was thoughtful enough to try.

The Sonic one wasn't new. That one was already in the archives; I don't know why he bumped it up past the Christmas one. It's a riff on Sonic being included in Smash Brothers Brawl. Note the bunny ears.

...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.

I understood the point of the comic (eventually), I just thought it wasn't conveyed very well. From her perspective, he simply got her the wrong gift.
