The new VI character(if there even is one) still hasn't been confirmed. Most of the characters would be on the Cosmos side, although Celes can be on the Chaos side, as can Gestahl out of the possible ones. I don't think Gestahl would be in though.
Helpful Scripts and Stylesheets here.^^ I was just trying to find an actual Achilles trope, but I forgot about that one. Everyone I know associates Achilles with his famous heels, so I often mention the heels anyway. PotHoles are just easier.

Wait, what? It's a prequel?
Also, I'm thinking WOL is just in a Batman Gambit.
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.Vaan vs Gabranth?
Really?
Ashe and Basch would be way better fits.
I'd rather Ashe since we need more girls on the Cosmos side than just Terra, Tifa, and Shantotto.
Oh well.
Umbran Climax◊On Kuja being on Cosmos' side now: Kuja was, if not exactly an Anti-Villain, still quite sympathetic in his original game, more so than any other main villain in the series (Genesis is a poor man's Kuja). Dissidia derailed him hard. I think doing this may be more of an attempt to show his other sides.
I was going to try and make a point of that, then I remembered that most of his motivation is either doing what Garland tells him to, or because it's all about him.
Ah OK. My biggest exposure to Kuja was Dissidia. It's still a pretty big shock.
Actually, if Xande makes it in, they could play up the similarities between his plight and Kuja's. Just two people on opposite sides of the war who are Not So Different.
I have a message from another time...If this is a sequel and not a prequel, I could presume that Kuja may have undergone a Heel–Face Turn after the first game. If it's a prequel... I dunno. Fake Warrior of Cosmos?
That, or this game is his Start of Darkness, or he's simply going through a phase where he's tryin' to be good, or being summoned by Cosmos changes his nature a bit, who knows.
I have a message from another time...It could be a reference to the end of the game where Kuja was shown to be sorry and pulled something of a heel face turn and saved Zidane and the others from the attack of the Iifa tree.
Disclaimer: If anyone disagrees with anything I say, I am quite prepared to not only retract it, but also to deny under oath I ever said it.Which hardly matters if it is a prequel. But I get your point. Anyway, if they are going crazy by adding heroes, then why not villains?? XANDE (I just want to see him, I kinda like him) vayne, seymour, zemus, anything you want.
Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal. They've added Kain, who seems to be a Warrior of Chaos.
Personally, I wouldn't really like to see Zemus, since his moveset would be made out of whole cloth. The only good thing about him would be his EX Mode. If Gabranth wasn't our E Xecutioner, I'd suggest for Zemus to be like that.
^ Maybe they all ended up in... uh. That arena-thing you apparently recruit Gabranth in?

He confronts them in an underworld where the defeated warriors fight for a chance to return to life. Defeating him is their last challenge.
I have a message from another time...It has been brought to my attention that, apparently, they (whoever they are) planned to put a humanoid Zeromus into the first Dissidia, but he was rejected in favour of Golbez. Interesting, is it not? If they did go for a humanoid Zeromus, they could use his Zeromus EG form for his EG EX form.
Also: anyone else thinking that every game'll be getting +1 person added to it's team (e.g. Kain for FFIV, Vaan for FFXIII) except for XIII, which'll get +2?
Also also: based on the logo
◊, I'm almost inclined to think that this game might have the story based around the Warriors of Chaos as the player characters... bit of a long shot, though.

I think you want a different Achilles trope, but I get what you mean.
