Rock Man.EXE / Mega Man NT Warrior Episode 30:
Netto/Lan and Rock Man.EXE / Mega Man.EXE are now in Kingland (totally not England). Hey, I swear that the name of the place/country was Creamland!
The episode also have some focus on Count Elec/Zap and he seems to be more deeper that I've expected. Seriously, he has a mother and a older brother.
Interesting, Elec Mama's real name is Tesla. There's a character in the Battle Network also named Tesla but she is the daughter of someone, rather than Elec's mother.
The episode confirmed that the World Three is gone for good, albeit the main quartet characters are alive somehow. And Hinoken/Mr. Match still wants to fight Netto.
Well... I still don't know if the name of the country or something like that was Creamland or Kingland, but the area is somehow a Fantasy Counterpart Culture of England. They even had a stand-in for the Loch Ness Monster.
In the last minutes of the anime, it seems that acording to Elec, his mother died 10 years ago. But was Elec Mama really Dead All Along? I've watched all of the episode and she looks pretty alive (albeit older to me).
Voice Actor time! As expected...
- Elec Mama/Tesla's seiyuu is Masako Nozawa. You know, the one that voice Son Goku. She's also One Piece's Doctor Kureha and Digimon Tamers' Guilmon as well as Golion's Honerva.
- Interesting, there's also another character with shares the same voice actor as Goku. It's Elec Man.EXE, which is voiced by Kirby Morrow AKA Miroku.
- Even weirder, Goku's Brazilian voice actor (Wendell Bezerra) also did someone in the anime! It's Enzan, for the uninformed ones. Not to mention that said voice actor also did Proto Man (the original one in the cartoon...)
- And in said cartoon, Mega Man himself is also Goku! Well, Ian James Corlett, not the aforementioned Kirby Morrow...
Another question: What happened with Lord Wily? Is he still alive or he is dead for good?

Strike Laser Claw!!Honestly, my biggest complaint with the writing in X is that it does a lot of telling and not showing. We never see any real humans in it besides Dr Cain (who disappears after X3) or have any idea what human society is like and how they feel about reploids. How am I supposed to care about the society the Maverick Hunters are protecting when I know nothing about it?
That's also why the melodramatic narration about X wondering when the never ending fighting will stop or whatever falls so flat and feels so unearned. We don't get to FEEL what X feels, and him doing it over and over gets tiresome because of it.
They kinda fixed this a little in Zero but that's another conversation altogether.
I feel like we had the makings of a saving throw - the fact that humans barely appear at all could reflect the experiences of the Maverick Hunters, and show us why so many reploids decide that they can do without humans.
Sadly, it was never used that way.
The lack of worldbuilding may be excused by the focus on gameplay but if they have that much ambition they could have released more supplement materials.
Where there's life, there's hope.Wily's still alive. His Battle Network incarnation is even more of a roach that his Classic one. That episode was really bizarre. It made sense as Zap's drunken delusions until Lan and Megaman started referencing the battle.
My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsAs you all know, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 are coming really soon (July 24th) and the Trophies in the PS4 versions of the games have been revealed.
Side note: The trophies you get for defeating the final bosses in the 8 games have a recurring theme going. Can we nominate this as a Crowning Moment of Funny, please?
Other side note: Protodude's noticed something intriguing:
Yes, Brian. This could be very interesting.
Is this the first time Sigma's final forms in X4 and X6 have been given names? If so, that's neat. But they don't give X7's one, lol.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...No, it was not a question. I meant it in a tone of "Oh, that's gonna get interesting".
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore......When did I say I thought it was a question?

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundMega Man X9: A Maverick outbreak interrupts <insert plot here> and it seems <Red Herring> is behind it but it turns out that its Sigma but actually it turns out its Lumina but actually it was Axl. You're in for an interesting final boss if you've been maining Axl

Where there's life, there's hope. One of the Axls is a new generation reploid copying Axl but its unclear which one. Zero displays zero concern for the existential dilemma.

LOL to the Star Wars reference on the beginning of the episode.
Netto/Lan and Rock Man.EXE / Mega Man.EXE's last travel before going back to Japan is now on the city of Namaste.
Seriously? Namaste? As in the Indian salute? Granted the scenario is now "India" with the curry, but still...
Netto is just obsessed with curry. I know that curry is common in some animes, but the fact that curry came from India is new to me. Interesting, both India and Japan are Buddhist, so, alongside the religion, the indians gave curry to the japanese.
It seems that the World Three refuses to give up the fight. They're in Namaste too, ready for a trap. Mahajarama, one of the members, owns a curry restaurant.
The World Three seems to be strong, due to the teamwork of the four Navis. But, LOL, a curry battlefield? That's so weird...
Good thing Netto and Rock Man.EXE are saved by his friends. BTW, the reason they're too strong with teamwork? They were friends from a long time. Also, Rock Man.EXE also gained a new Style Change. Then, thanks to Ice Man.EXE, he did a Ice-Lightning combo!
In the end, Netto and his friends go back to Japan, but Netto doesn't want to see curry anymore... Then, Mahajarama didn't wanted to fight Netto after all. He only wanted to test his curry machine and find the best curry. Poor Netto, and poor World Three.
After the short Pharaoh Man.EXE saga, episodes 26-31 are just Netto traveling the world with Rock Man.EXE. But it still was a breath of fresh air compared to the Tournament Arc.
Next episode shows Arashi, Toad Man.EXE, Air Man.EXE and Forte.EXE / Bass.EXE and it's named Net City. Starting a new arc yet?

Strike Laser Claw!!For the record, curry technically didn't originate in India. Curry was made by the Brits in order to try and emulate Indian cuisine but they failed spectacularly because curry is absolutely nothing like Indian cuisine. Didn't stop it from becoming super popular in England and, somehow, Japan, though.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! So, Mega Man 11 is gonna have Denuvo.
There's some shit Capcom never learns.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...What's Denuvo?
One Strip! One Strip!A DRM known for the reputation of installing spyware on people's PC and slowing it down. Earned the hate of many a gamer and every fucking company wants to put it in their games.
Better known as the main problem with Sonic Mania.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...It's even more bizarre as it gets faster and faster to crack the more they do it.
I remember when Sonic Mania got cracked in two weeks.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...Glad I'm buying on Switch then.
Like somebody said, you could use actual infected reploids to test vaccines to the maverick virus
I'm not entirely sure how they've been developing any. Possibly why they all failed until X and co decided to rely on elves
