AKA: Wicked just came back from church.

It's OK, Wicked. I know the feeling. My family is pretty religious. But I cut them off on that from an early age.

No, they're forcing me to go to church because getting your mind assaulted with retarded dogma every week is just as/even more important that school and work.

And the best part is, since their is 'beyond logic' somehow, none of it has to make any sense.

Well, I've never heard that come out of their mouths, it's what one of the pastors told me.

Natterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr in my articles. >_< I can't work like this.

Morning updaters. Self feels fine, but unwilling to study for finals this week yet. I'm not worried, I always do fine, but the knowledge of it is nag, nag, nagging at me. ;/

Taking a religion quiz for some reason.

How it's looking, I'm an atheist, though I still call agnostic.

More instead, I seem more like a rationalist...

Ah! surprised According to the quiz I'm a 100% humanist, even moreso than an atheist.

...which I don't think means much, humanism seems more a philosophy than a religion to me but whatevs.

Anyone with some free time, check it out, it looks cool.

:/ Buddhism does actually seem a religion to me since so many think so, but my point being that I'm surprised that humanism would actually show up in a religion quiz.

So does buddhism. What's your point?

Religion is a cultural system that creates powerful and long-lasting meaning by establishing symbols that relate humanity to beliefs and values.[1] Many religions have narratives, symbols, traditions and sacred histories that are intended to give meaning to life or to explain the origin of life or the universe. They tend to derive morality, ethics, religious laws or a preferred lifestyle from their ideas about the cosmos and human nature.

Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language.[1][2] It is distinguished from other ways of addressing such problems by its critical, generally systematic approach and its reliance on rational argument.[3] The word "philosophy" comes from the Greek φιλοσοφία (philosophia), which literally means "love of wisdom".

Yeah, Buddhism...not exactly a philosophy.

(Well, it does possess a philosophy, but it also encompasses so much more)

Huh. A while back I got some Neopagan books on magic through the four elements and precious stones.

Fun reads, but when I realized they were more for serious spiritualists I stopped reading. :P
