Troper Updates II, Part II

Go To

In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.

Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

It's something to strive for as an LPer, I think. At least, I'm a fan of the informative ones.

There's something so fun about rping a Harry Potterverse OC who's terrified of their own magic.

Naturally. I figure not everyone would be happy with the fact that they could warp reality with a wave of their hand.

Well, she's not afraid of magic in general.

Just her own.

Oh so much.

I'm planning on having her subconciously sabatoge any attempts she makes to cast spells with shaking hands (to throw off the proper motions) and a shaking voice (to throw off the proper pronounciation). If she's asked to do just the motions or just the words, she can do them fine, but she can't do them together.

Classes are going to be fun! =D

^Heya, Ozmatozz!

I think I'm going to write a bit of The Most Pretentious Story Ever while I summon the wherewithal to get out of bed.

Like a paragraph, I mean.

Out of bed. Going to eat breakfast, run, and take a shower. If he gets on during that two-hour period, I will be relieved.

So's, way back in poorly remembered history, a bunch of hunter-gatherers were all like "Hey, I like our lifestyle and all, but it's just too nutritious for my taste". So, the hunter gatherers invented Farming. And then, thousands of years later, a European, which is someone from Europea, said "Hmm. I like all these crusades and oppression and stuff, but life just isn't ruined enough." So they invented the plague to ruin life. But not everybody died! Oh noes! So's, the people of Europea decided to give the plague to the people of other places, like American and Australi. So's the people of Europea invented Communism to ruin life. But it didn't work because they couldn't even keep their walls from falling or their curtains from being eaten by moths. So, the Europeans, having failed once more, gave their Communism to Chines. And then, some guys in the Sahara were all like "man, it just ain't hot enough", so's they made Global Warming.

Trufax.

Hm. Going to watch Hamlet a bit later tonight. Half for study, half 'cos I like it, and half 'cos David Tennant. Yes, that's three halves.
