In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

It's not even the first, I'll have to find out what the version in Little Big Planet 2 is.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection!Did I ever tell you people one of the reasons I love The Posse's Let's Play of Sonic Unleashed is because of the bunches of Space Ghost Coast To Coast references?
Not really, but I can appreciate that because Space Ghost is pretty boss.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection! From what little I know of Space Ghost Coast To Coast, it seems like the kind of show I would've liked when I was younger, despite not getting any of the parodic/referential humor.
Heapers’ HangoutOh yeah, I loved it when I was younger too even though I didn't get any of it.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection! So I bought the Guilty Gear game from GOG.
._. Wow, I knew that this game had bizarre cast, but I don't think I realized it fully before... Also, the backgrounds. Just the backgrounds. ._. One of them has some sort of giant beast chained and wizard people doing something with it ._.
Okay, wrote a help function for my IRC bot. Now it's 2 AM so SLEEP
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.I don't know why I'm still up, since I'm in a bad mood and really should have been in bed hours ago if only because I could use a hug...
The parents are going to Charlottesville tomorrow, and they want me to come, but that depends on how I feel in the morning. I do kind of want to go, but if my current condition is any indication, I'm probably going to be asleep all day again. :P
Oh well. Time to stop stewing and get to sleep. Good night!
online since 1993 | huge retrocomputing and TV nerd | lee4hmz.info (under construction) | heapershangout.comAs you may already know, my main computer is about as fast as a REVAi. Today, we (my father and I) finally came to a conclusion on why: it only has 512MB of R.A.M. We opened it up and tried to put in some 2GB chips from a not-so-old motherboard, but the motherboard I'm actually using is incompatible with whatever format those chips use. We tried to put the whole other motherboard in, but we just couldn't get it to fit into the case. We made a decision that we both know is going to be a lot easier than what we've tried to do so far.
My main machine has very nearly reached the end of its time. In about a week, we are going to retire it for good and replace it with a new machine. I am posting this from my laptop right now, because a) the system in question is currently being put back together so I can still use it until the inevitable day, and b) if it knew that we've already planned this, it would be pissed.
If it made sense for dead computers to have their own tombstones, I'd be preparing one right now and it would say this:
R.I.P.
Dell Dimension 4700

I got my mid-semester score for Adv. Management Accounting back. I scored a 13/20.
I don't know whether I should be happy or sad.
Support Taleworlds!Present and technically awake.
Coffee is being drank in large quantities. All systems 70% functional.
Wait no, brain is still trying to grasp the concept of a TV station showing Dawn Of The Dead at 6 in the morning when said TV network is not a movie network.
What the hell seriously?
Postal voting forms arrived. I have a choice between two candidates I dont know, who are both from parties which form the ruling coalition (which I don't support). And I can vote in a referendum where I can choose between two voting systems I do not care for. I am mildy tempted to vote for the new system, which will result in more hung Parliaments, but it also lessens the fear of vote-splitting by running against coalition partners, and I like politicians having to grapple with those kind of thorny dilemmas, as it keeps them busy from other, more important issues.
