I just realized it's 2 AM and I've had my dinner waiting since 8 PM but I somehow the Internet distracted me enough to make me forget my hunger.

CD burn works when I skip the supposedly required blanking step. Whatever.

Winchester Mystery House needs a Winchester Mystery Rifle. And hell, I'll throw in Arthur too.

Who should wield the Winchester Rifle in the Winchester House?

a) Ariadne
b) Arthur

Just one rifle? You know the backstory to the house, right? The lady was so paranoid because of guilt from the source of her wealth, that being the gun manufacturer.

I can't wait for Gaiman's ep.

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

Yup, that it is. This world needs more Eleventh Doctor.

Indeed

So, I think I mentioned that I started my research paper.

All that I wrote, though, was "INSERT INTRO HERE" since I plan on working backwards.

I know, but Miss Winchester isn't going to be in the drawing.

Ariadne: *gun cock* :D
Arthur: *death glare* You're the architecture student. Don't you know why this house is so crazy?
Ariadne: Sarah Winchester was paranoid that her family was cursed because of the guns her husband made and would only live as long as the house was unfinished, confusing the ghosts via bizzarchitecture, etc. But we're not Sarah Winchester, and we need protection.
Arthur: We are so going to hell.

Possibly the worst thing about not living in the Big Applesauce is that I missed the preview of Doctor Who a few weeks ago.

So, I'm planning on doing an LP of MGS 3. Tzetze suggested a no-stealth run. Any other suggestions for what I should do?

Also, how should I define no stealth? I mean, I can probably clear most of the game by taking out enemies from outside of their view without causing a ton of alerts.

Never try to use camo or deliberately avoid detection.

Lethal-force only.

Well, I'm planning on grabbing the M60 when I can and just mowing them down after that point. grin

[up] Sounds like a plan. I can do that. No tranq gun at all?

Heh. The first time I played MGS3, I went out of my way not to have any kills...until the rail shooter sequence with unlimited ammo, including a rocket launcher.

Yeah, I generally give up the no-kill thing after The Sorrow. The rail shooter is a pain in the ass with only non-lethal weapons.
