In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

@Tidal: It's called a Signature Style.
@Key: Hey, man! Band breakups hurt! It's kinda like a author/director's retirement. Conclusions are always bittersweet and all that jazz.
@Sunsho: Sorry to hear that, bro. -sad-brofist-
It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.I bet this movie wouldn't even sound so dated if it just stopped using future slang every other sentence. It's barely even English.
This is actually what I think it's the best way to do it. It helps you to stop seeing them as characters and start seeing them as people.

This band has been a big influence on how I think about the world as well as on my musical style and taste... I can honestly say I would be a lot less happy had I not discovered them. They have a very clear message, and a very positive message, in a day when such a thing is very hard to come by, especially in music... I consider myself a very positive person, and while some of that has come from inside of me, I honestly have to acknowledge that part of that has stemmed from these guys. They've always helped me through any hard times I had, and - I say this with complete honesty - I got to see them live once and it was one of the high points of my life. It's hard to explain how close they are to me.
They said they're doing one last tour... I hope it comes to the UK. So I don't have to fly to America to see them.
The Stones are necromantic liches.
And, yeah, I was blessed to see The Fall of Troy before they broke up. They had a similar effect on me.
Right now I need to see Circle Takes the Square. They've had almost the same effect on me as RX Bandits seem to have had for you, though they're not really positive, depending on how you think of their message.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."ALICE!
The Stones are necromantic liches.
My friends and I always joke that Keith Richards has sold his sould and the devil encased it specifically in his telecaster. So if he stops playing, he will die.

No.It also seems like most of the conversations I have in this thread seem to be only with you, for some reason.
Heapers’ HangoutI can't get the final boss theme of Fairy Wars out of my head.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...

I've decided not to go to my prom this year. I went last year, expecting it to be some big thing and was dissapointed. Just dancing, pointless drama, and too dark.
I've also decided to take characters from story ideas and combine them with characters from old story ideas. While doing this, I realized that I had four Butt-Monkey Cloud Cuckoolander male heroes, three Naïve Everygirl Stepford Smiler female heroes, and three Tomboy Tsundere's. All from different stories. Wow.
