Troper Updates II, Part II

Go To

In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.

Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Not that strange. The plot has gone into overdrive recently.

I honestly don't see what the big deal is.

Around Homestuck, that is.

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

Just lots of fans around here, that's really all there is to it.

Arcy: A perfect summary of Homestuck fans and haters! Terezi may or may not need to change, though.

And what fluid said.

Looking at old pictures of some celebrities. The site have a very odd name. Otherwise the pictures are really interesting. Alfred Hitchcock holding a koala-interesting.

I mean...is it funny? Clever? Has great characters? What's the appeal?

That's all I want to know, damn it!

There's even a picture of Stephen Hawking with his wife! He was still walking at the time the picture was taken (albeit with a cane). Awesome! Also found a picture of Einstein I hadn't seen before.

I personally like it, though that's no guarantee anyone else will. For what it's worth, I just think it's funny and the plot is interesting.

And so boredom sets it. I bought the expansion to Acceleration of Suguri, but I'm saving that for the gap between my classes...

This has gotten me thinking again, actually. Megafandoms seem to just happen for stuff every now and then. They have massive appeal on the Internet, with people spawning fan works like crazy. No identifiable reason. Sociologists, get on this case, please.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit.

Just because I love saying that.

That said, I think Megavideo is trolling me.
