In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Oh God, I hate my new 3TB External HDD. It's so incredibly slow. Irritatingly, unbearably slow.
I need to buy something else. I guess I need to buy some new Internals. But I really don't want to get back in my case because my desk is so horrible. And because I'm still at the point in my life where getting in there makes me nervous. It's in my desk so perfect right now and everything is just fine. That I don't want to mess with it.
But I have like, no place left. I'm definitely not buying a Hitachi external again. My Western Digital 1 TB is MUCH faster.
Genkidama for Japan, even if you don't have money, you can help![1]ISoulreaverI: Leaves in all the times his emulator crashes. Audio is WAAAAAAAAAY off balance.
pup218: No sound with commentary, video quality is actually pretty decent.
thebearmancometh: Obnoxious (albeit short) intro before the video starts. Seemingly discontinued. Video quality seems pretty good, even though the tops and bottoms don't reach the edges of the frame. That can be passed over. I'd actually watch this one.
The accumulated fail of these youtube LPs will foam up around their waists and all the Clancers and Beastector members will look up and shout "Save us!" and I will look down and whisper "Shake shake".
@Fluid: To be fair, Mischief Makers is REALLY tough to play on an emulator thanks to the way its controls are. Still, you are absolutely right. It doesn't help that that is the first set of levels and he's already giving up. It's like, hey, you might as well have not even tried.

Good'n.
Damn, I feel really tired right now for some reason. Musta been the heavy lunch.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection!I had wings today.
I love how I only just realized that I don't have to walk across down for them.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection!Back from the rental store. I got:
- Highlander!
- Scott Pilgrim vs. The World!
- The Last Airbender! Wait SHI-
Also, I'm going to start on my LP tonight. I still don't know if I'm doing EVO just yet unless you really want to see me repeat the same stage for over an hour.
I wouldn't mind the recent explosion of Activision-related topics in Video Games except it's prompting people to spout their mouths more often to make up for the lack of any intelligent opinions or useful suggestions and to wax nostalgic for times that didn't quite exist the way they wish they did.
Fucking kids. You don't have all the answers, miru, and neither do you, Thorn.
Activision were never good anyway.
Not even in the Atari days.

Charles: You know, the DreamWorks Face.

Clock Tower? The original one's a point and click, I think.
Yo Noid? That'd be pretty challenging.

@grog: Oooooh, okay. I see so few movies in theaters that I forgot.
Yes, -dreamworksface- is exceptionally acceptable.
Also, I wish I had a brain filter that would make it seem like neither Justin Bieber nor anyone mentioning Justin Bieber existed. Like Peril-Sensitive Sunglasses except for overdiscussed pop idols.
As usual, Zombies Ate My Neighbors would be my first choice, though that one is doubly fun if you can find a second player to play it with you. Back in the day, I also liked Another World, which was a sort of proto-survival-horror game.

I am now of the opinion we need [dreamworksface] emoticons.
Is it wrong that it makes me think of John Kricfalusi? (He calls it "'TUDE" and hates it, and can find it in all sorts of places)
We do, actually.
It'd be a great "sarcastic" emote.

There's a hollow ringing sound in my ear....Now its gone.
Weird.
