Troper Updates II, Part II

In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.

Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

it's kind of cool looking, but there's the whole, you know, getting jabbed with needles in your eye bit.

Ergh... I just couldn't get sleep last night, and I also woke up at nine; leaving to work at eleven. Doesn't sound bad, but I needed to take a shower and want to mess around with the computer for while.

... was it just me, or was everything just in italics?

At least it wasn't just me.

The Mighty Anonym became a God-like being or something by way of screwing with the markup.

And now everything's bold. *sigh*

I'm curious to see if there is a way to break a thread to the point of no return using the wiki markup.

Eh, I'd get banned anyway. It might be useful at some point though.

I can think of a way that prevents replying.

Yeah. I kinda wanted to know about killing a thread because I wanted to end that. >.> I break things sometimes, but I try not to be so fucking annoying about it.

I'm seriously tempted to report the post that broke that one page.

If only because I was banned for much, much less.

^^I like to think that, when I was discovering all that shit, I was more playful than I was annoying.

Tzetze: URL rewriting doesn't count.

I was thinking of reporting it. I should probably fix my breaking posts inside that dumb thing, but it's a pain to dig through that page.

Its not the italics that bother me, so much as that "Wait... am I going crazy here?" feeling that alarms me.

I know how to break some markup, but I don't do it often, and never in the Sandbox.

(And if I do do it I edit it out anyway)

Blah, let's share fora breaking code with everyone and have no discretion about when to use it. This is why you can't have nice things.

I think the links with percents bug only works if you're at the bottom of the page. Alas.
