In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

I kinda find it annoying how haters of one thing always have one dimensional view...
Like all child haters(or at least most of them) think that children are bratty, loud, selfish things always. (and even if that was true, so what?)
I guess thats why I hate haters xD(which probably is hypocritical in some way) I rarely see anyone who hates something while still having clear understanding of that target of hate =P

Schol: Ah, okay. Well, you're welcome to try the same in return.
Moonie: I'm listening.
Kinky: Feel ready? Anyway, good luck!

Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count DorkuBack from the Brew and View! I'd never been before, the theater was really cool! Also $4 special on whiskey drinks, so my friend and I had a fair amount to drink! Whiskey and 7-Up for me, American whiskey so it was alright. Also, Despicable Me was an adorable movie, I really loved it! Fun night, definitely going back often!
Rawr! This is a lot of fun for me, too, Haven.

Kill all math nerdsI hate cats. Mostly because that's the only way thy'll come to me when I call. They say cats look at the world upside down about 80% of the time. I think it's true of their perception of human desire.
No seriously, I hate them because They cause my eyes to swell and my nose to plug. they know this. That's why they're always jumping up on my lap and rubbing my face

“Human beings are the only animals of which I am thoroughly and cravenly afraid.”—George Bernard ShawOkay, well, I had two different ideas that I'd like to try out with a small group of tropers (maybe 4-5, tops?) if they're able, preferably over IRC or Vent or somethin' like that, for purposes of just being faster than PBP. Two ideas, both lifted from gaming blogs.
One would start with a You All Meet in an Inn scenario (or something similar), with one twist: all you pick is your race and your class. That's it. Everything else— stats, skills, feats, powers (yeah, I was thinking of trying a 4e campaign)— are all picked on the fly, as you need them. Basically, you start with a blank slate character and fill him in as you go along, if that makes sense.
The other would have everyone start with a relatively high-level character, maybe 10+, and then through some circumstances, get deleveled via a "sent to the past" kinda thing (haven't made up my mind yet) and play through a How We Got Here to see how your character got to be where they are. Time travel elements and causality would be involved.
Any takers, or am I totally insane for trying?
Sounds kinda interesting, Blackmoon. I'm not sure I'd participate, though.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."@Blackmoon: Hell yeah I would be interested.
Only people would hear my voice then... -_-

On the contrary, I approve of using both my typical berserk button and my real one in one go like that.
