In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.

Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

I got to the end of another webcomic's backlogs today, that's another daily release I have to follow.

I was reading it because I get sick of waiting for my other favorite webcomics to update. Sigh.

In the mood for another comic, Mr Mallard? I wrote one on dA. Currently has 60 pages, and is unfinished.

So some people in my dorm got really drunk, so drunk that they punched holes in the ceiling tiles and knocked some out of the ceiling. I heard some loud noises, looked outside and saw ceiling tiles on the floor. Boy does this make me hate going to what is somewhat of a "party school".

I always hated "party" people. An ex-high school classmate told me that the one (and only) birthday party I'd attended post-childhood was "a kiddie party" despite being held by someone who was 20 where there was some drinking, and that if I went to a "real party", I'd freak out.

And I think that's true. I don't do well in hugh crowds and I wouldn't tolerate loud noise or this kind of behavior well.

That's too bad. Parties with decent company are absolutely awesome.

Finding the 'decent company' is the hard part; that's why office parties always suck arse.

The day I leave this school for good, I'll blast "Solsbury Hill" at the highest volume from my car MP 3 player.

I can imagine.

I wish I did that when I left high school. [lol]

On a not so unrelated tangent, I was the unfortunate victim of Katy Perry's song Firework as our University graduation send off.

'Please kill me now' was what I thought of it. [lol]

Actually, it was sung by one of John Farnham's backing singers and one of his many guitarists...

It was still awful, mind you, but at least a little more 'live' than one normally would expect. [lol]

When I leave this place....

I don't know what I'll play actually.

The school atmosphere is kind of weird.

On one hand Drawing class causes a lot of self esteem issues for me. (I still want it)

On the other hand I have a friend (until I'll confess or something) I can talk to in school who is nice. Most of my classmates that I have are decent and until now (not really that long since we had the holidays and all) I can pretty much ignore all the annoying idiots and not hear them all the time.

On the other hand, most of the teachers are annoying.

On the other hand I barely studied at all up until now.

On the other hand I had been having a class that name's sounds like it is about indoctrinating us.

Oh also leaving high school has a different kind of feeling in here because... You know.

I came in for study today, my scheduled lessons don't start for half an hour. My laptop won't connect to the school internet. I'm using a library computer.

In Waitrose we get lions and tigers too - it's how their meat is so fresh.

Oh, and we also get gladiator fights in the wine section. When in Rome, and all that...
