In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.

Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Watching Carnival Phantasm.

My chest feels like it's been hit with a hammer from laughing so hard.

I'm ill, so I have the day off from going to my further educational facility!

@Luthen - What do you mean? I'm bad with physics.

Hey, Rover!

Yeah. I finally gave Roy a nickname.

Hey, Beady!

...

Shouldn't you be in school?

@ Roy. Errr...

d Roy —> Roy —> Roy of the Rovers —> Rover —> Rovio

@ Beady. Oh, whoops. I added numbers onto my current time, not subtract.

Well, <glomps>

Time goes all funky when you travel really, really fast.

Though I just did the maths, and f you travel at just under 70% of the speed of light, a 25 minutes run from your perspective is 35 minutes for us.

You must agree, my plan is sheer elegance in its simplicity! My Tumblr

@ Rovie. It's from a comic that my (sports-mad) brother read called "Roy of the Rovers", a player who played for a fictional association football team in North England.

@ Luthen. I know! Physics calculations are often really, really, 9.81 N/kg!

@ Beady. About 2pm-ish.

@Inhopelessguy - Ooh, I see.

@Luthen - Uh...huh. (/nearly failed math)

I just ran harder. Normally, I just jog casually. Today, I wanted to break my record. I'm not sure how long the distance I jog is, though. I'm guessing around 4 miles, because when I push myself, I can run a mile in six minutes and half (yes, it's not that fast, deal with it).

[up][up] I'm not in class at 2PM... Or, really, I'm technically in class, but I've taken this class three times already (the first time was in High School, but I forgot to sign up for the AP test, so I took it the next year, and took the AP test, and then I didn't want to go into Calc 3 my first semester of college, so I decided to retake Calc 2, but I did none of the homeworks, and, as a result, failed the class, and I'm now retaking it again, but doing the homeworks this time), and I only technically need to be there at the very beginning to turn in my homework, so that's as long as I stay there.

@ Beady. Huh. Well, good luck. I could help you, but I doubt it. My limit of calculus goes into quadratic algebra and application of vector values into simultaneous equations with two missing variables.

...

Errr... I mean, I know jack-all about calc.

@ Rovie. I once threw a javelin 4.01 m. ... That's the smallest distance my school ever saw. tongue

[up] ...I don't need help, I just need to do the homeworks this time, but my point was that, even if it were actually 2 here, "I still wouldn't be in school.

@ Beady. Ohhh. Gotcha.

@ Rovie. I'm not quite sure. Maybe 15 m. My PE teacher literally went "Hopey, you did... four metres... and... one centimetre."

Well, you have to hold it like a pen.

That's the only thing I remember about throwing on. You must remember, the last time I threw one was back in... ooooohhh... '09.

Also, I feel like a baws. I'm playing Forza Motorsport, and I've upgraded this tichy Chevrolet Volt '10 electric car. I was beating supercharged Ferraris and Lamborghinis.

<hugs Beady again>

How are you?
