In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.

Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Blackmoon: Actually, that if you travel by subway, and you become really stupid all of a sudden, you can stop at the last station, and wait there until the train turns around and heads the other way.

Not that I ever did anything like that, no sirree.

@Prof

Ah, that's handy!

@Blixty

Quite awesome.

The lack of grinding is a relief, considering that it's the main thing that usually ends up driving me away from the games.

Back.

Meh.

Plenty of photos to upload to Flickr over the next week or so; then back in the rain and then work...

...not so bad, once the rain stopped.

@ Inane: Of course it's you, you stupid berk!

[up][up]Yep, leveling up in Black and White is much easier, especially since there's one Pokémon in particular that gives a lot of EXP.

Also, on the same note that Blixty left off, don't evolve your Pansear right when you get the Fire Stone. If you do, the strongest move it will learn is Flame Burst unless you give it a TM (which are reusable in this game, yet another plus).

We are slowly making progress.

C'mon, I shit you not, don't stop
A man with a plan and mask can't be caught
Slashing through your neighborhood
Like The Mayor's Slayer would
Makes more bodies than Nic Cage makes flops
Kills more teens than the cigarette shops
Spills more blood than Iraq War shots
And the killer is still going and the body count is rising
And the cops can't help cause they're too busy super-sizing
And folks are scared to go outside
cause every time they do another person dies
Who knew they'd live to see murder become personalized?

You know, I should probably just PM this to you Spain.

I've got Pokemon Black, and have completed it three times.

Good memories of slaughtering wild Audino's on Route 10. Grinding for the Elite Four.

I kind of want to post in the Furry Club thread in Troper Covens. I have been meaning to for a long time now.

I think you're right, but it would be better/make more sense to turn "become" to "be".

Bluh gotta go to a parent's party.

@Kraken: Wait until it turns around? Fuck that. When I was in Tokyo, I missed a stop or two and decided to abuse the rail system. I had a lot of free time, so I stayed on that fucker until it made a complete loop of the city and came back to where I wanted to get off.

Evenin' folks.

Goddamit, I'm so cold, and it's supposedly a toasty 15°C in my house.

In any case, I saw Hugo at the cinemas. I liked it, especially in 3D. I somehow managed to drink 1.301ℓ of Fanta. Awesome.

I have some money.

I need: a plain t-shirt of any colour, some fabric pens/paint, some glitter for the t-shirt, and some body glitter.

A t-shirt that says "Sparklepires: More glitter than Ke$ha"

My bestie has a t-shirt that says "Team Bella(trix): At least she admits her insanity"

Our plan is to make the t-shirts and go see Breaking Dawn Part One whilst wearing them. Also covered in body glitter.

That's a good way to literally get fucked in a movie theatre filled with fans that have an already slippery grasp on reality and and even looser basis of the sex appeal of anyone covered in glitter.

They're scary; watch out!

I need someone bitchy to be my new best friend.

Bitchiness is like crack to me.

My dumb moment for the day:

Staring out the window on the train as it goes by. We come up to one of those railroad crossings, and the lights are flashing and the crossbars are down. A part of me in the back of my mind goes, "Wait... a train's coming! We need to get off of the track, this is dangerous!"

...and then it occurred to me...
