Troper Updates II, Part II

In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.

Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

I expected this thread to get like a million replies.
Well, we already have the Romance thread, which already serves as an outlet for heartbreak stories (among others).

I actually like all the art nouveau cliches.

Which will be a problem when I wake up, we're doing a family photo...darn it.

Kraken: As do I. It just gets kind of annoying to see the same things over and over and over again.

But I mean, in Art Nouveau's case, it's kind of to be expected, as it was the bridge between Neoclassicism, and the more industrial modern art :/

I read it.

Fuck yeah, I ought to be asleep and here I am listening to "Tornado Defense - 2nd Battle".

Yes, but what's it about?

I - for example - am planning on starting a new blog about analysis on fiction trends, recurring themes, and cross-national idea pollination.

It's just a personal blog. Hell the blog is even titled "Eternal Internal Ramblings, or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Tolerate Life", and the URL is tendollarlameo.blogspot.com.

It's about whatever I feel like blogging about.

A mote it is to trouble the mind's eye.
In the most high and palmy state of Rome,
A little ere the mightiest Julius fell,
The graves stood tenantless and the sheeted dead
Did squeak and gibber in the Roman streets:
As stars with trains of fire and dews of blood,
Disasters in the sun; and the moist star
Upon whose influence Neptune's empire stands
Was sick almost to doomsday with eclipse: 120
And even the like precurse of fierce events,
As harbingers preceding still the fates
And prologue to the omen coming on,
Have heaven and earth together demonstrated
Unto our climatures and countrymen.—
But soft, behold! lo, where it comes again!

Almost looks like prose that Tennyson or Shelley would write.

Ben Tennyson wasn't a writer, silly, he was a superhero.

That's a selection from Hamlet, lines 126 to 138, by the way.

Morning.

Not sure if I can say that since I just woke up at 12 though.

Edit:

Dilemma teim: I have run out of clean clothes to wear sans my pajamas. Normally this wouldn't be a problem at my old place where I was the only person in the building. But now I have the public washers and dryers in the basement. So it's either sit around in my pajamas in public for 2.5 hours or wear one set of clothes that won't get cleaned.

Yes this is completely trivial and silly.

Chances are, there's a set of clothing that's reasonably not-dirty. That's what I would have gone for, at least.
