In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

Doctor waiting schedules are ridiculous.
If you're going to go to the Doctor anyway, you might consider raising what we talked about.
Against all tyrants.I don't remember; is Shauna a family member?
Alright, if you think there's no time, fair enough.
That's why you should move to a coastal city.

Against all tyrants.Right; the name seemed familiar, I just couldn't remember anything more.
You don't think you can spare five minutes just to get a starting point?
Against all tyrants....I can think of many things to say, but I won't say them here. Will you be able to schedule a later appointment and come up with a convincing reason to go there again?
Against all tyrants.Morning all.
Digital Devil Saga 2 arrived today. Now all I need is for Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne to arrive, and I'll have completed my collection of PS 2 SMT games. ...Except for the horribly expensive Raidou Kuzunoha Vs The Soulless Army and the No Export for You Raidou Kuzunoha Vs King Abaddon.
Right, stuck in university until six PM today due to band practice later tonight.
...and I'm already bored.

Oh man, you're going faster than me...it took at least an hour for me to get to that point. I'm sitting on 85 right now; I'm basically at the point where I'm all out of ideas, so I have to wait for the hint timer to hit 0 so I can get the next element(s).

It's been at least two years since I last plalyed this section on Uncharted 2.
My skills have increased to the point where a formerly painfully difficult section that took at least half an hour of death goes down in about 15 minutes.
And it still froze on the same bloody spot as it did two years ago.
Against all tyrants.
I've had similar experiences where I would replay a game years later and have way less trouble the second time around. The biggest example was Kingdom Hearts; I used to think the end-game bosses were nearly impossible on Normal, even at level 90+ and with Tinker Bell out. Now I can breeze through the entire game on Expert without dying at sub-60, and without Tinker Bell (which is funny because in my current playthrough I picked the staff at the beginning).
Ah, Kingdom Hearts. I beat Sephiroth for the first time earlier this year; used my old 2002 level 100 savegame from when I was 7. I couldn't beat him then. Beat him this time.
I went back a few months later on Expert and beat the shit out of him (and the rest of the bonus bosses, after starting the Hades Cup in the late 50s or so and ending up around the 70 mark) in the early 70s. Felt good man. Had no trouble with anything in the game, and I'm reasonably certain that early 70s is quite overleveled now.

I have to go on Saturday. you can't book appointments then, so I'm not exaggerating at all when I say I might have to sit there for hours.
Seriously. That is the literal truth. I once sat there from 9:30 to 12:30 before he could see me.
There are too many toasters in my chimney!
