(Not a snowclone, seriously) They're truly just syrup: ON ICE! But man they are tasty! A great little snack for a hot day at the beach.

I don't really like them. Give me a popsicle or real ice cream.

They are quite tasty, especially taking a huge bite, sucking all the syrup out and letting the ice just melt on your tongue.

I love that horrible-looking blue-black sludge they form at the bottom of the cone. Looks oh-so-wrong. Tastes oh-so-right.

Mmmmm yes. Although sometimes it's hard to figure out exactly what counts as a snowcone. Must it be in a cone? Does it cover from shave/hawaiian ice to icees to ice cubes dunked in syrup?

Popsicle < Snowcones < Ice Cream

you'll then have a grave in the clouds where you won't lie too cramped

I find them difficult to eat.

Hawaiian Ice counts in my mind. The fluffier, the better.

Really fluffy shaved ice is actually yummy all on its own. It's like eating tiny, very cold clouds!

^ Oooh, yes. The finer shaved, the softer, the better!

I like snowcones, but slushies are better than that, and Icees are better than that.

Although at some point, the fuzz turns into "slushy" territory. And while slushies are delicious, they're a different beast. The light, airy quality is what makes the ice fuzz so delicious.

Hmmm... Maybe I should try putting frozen fruit juice into an ice shaver!
