I must be insane, but I'm going to attempt to Platinum 5. So far I've S-Ranked all of Human and Devil Hunter and about 5 missions into Son of Sparda. Wish me luck. I'll need it.

x3 Here's the big problem, and what will likely prevent me from Platinuming the game. You have to S Rank all of Hell or Hell as well.

Being real? I don't think that's going to be hard so much as repetitive.

You're basically required to do a no-hit run anyways and since doing so doubles your Style points, I just got to play it safe instead of Stylish and I'll get my S-Ranks.

...Now Dante Must Die on the other hand.

I want to dispute the comparison, I really do, but I just can't.

I like how in the endgame of 5 just about everyone insists that Nero stay out of Dante and Vergil's fight to the death. To them they think it's inevitable and a matter of destiny, something that can't be avoided. Nero's all "screw that" and beats some sense into his uncle and father. And in doing so he resolves their feud for them.

I did like the phonecall to Kyrie being what motivates Nero, actually bringing up that losing Credo hurt both of them was nice in its own way and a pretty good motivator for him to not lose any more of what family he does have.

Never mind I gave up around Mission 11 of Son of Sparda. Furies are just the dumbest shit and they keep throwing them at you.

That was quick. I'm also aiming at the Platinum, I just got killed in mission 2 of DMD just last night.

I don't see current me being able to do it, might need some time in the hyperbolic time chamber.

Also: the torch pass to Nero is the best thing ever. Not just story-wise, because he got the twins to play nice, but also mechanically, since he has such a great moveset.

Really all Nero needs is an effective way to switch between Breakers

I mean Wit his Demon powers more full awaken and some of the Breakers being made from demons... shouldn't they like regenerate... similar to how Dante never needs to reload. I mean I get why the Breakage works the way it does since Nero being able to spam certain move over and over would be pretty op... Maybe make them run on a cooldown?

That DT design is most certainly not something to scoff at. Though I do prefer art work where she has a darker skin tone in human form.

The single criticism I'd have of that Lucia design is indeed the fact she's significantly lighter in skin tone.

You know Vergil's high and mighty stance of his skills seems kinda laughable when you consider that

He is 2W,3D,and 3L with Dante and his last W was back in DMC 3

yet he constantly acts like Dante is just not a threat to him.

Well he technically won 2 more as Urizen, and in fairness he does assess Dante as a proper threat after their second fight in 3.

Its amusing that Nero doesn't need a Devil Arm passed down from Sparda himself or the blood of an entire city to be powerful.

Everyone knows that no amount of innate strength nor sacrificial rituals can top The Power of Love.

Grandpa would probably be proudest of Nero for understanding this.

And Nero’s only quarter demon.

You really don’t need to be a son of Sparda to be badass.

Any amount of his blood will do.

Also a sword with a motorcycle engine. Muggles Do It Better indeed.
