Sorry, but I don't have it, so I wouldn't know.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarI just started playing Devil May Cry 4.
Is it normal to feel completely out of your depth in this combat?
I mean, I did pick easy mode, but I wonder if I'll start to feel like I still suck and the enemies are just going easy on me.
And this may be the most inappropriate casting of Johnny Yong Bosch I've seen.
Well, it's not like the dialogue seems all that good to begin with. Maybe it's meant to be Super-Campy? I may have to just play more.

Don't start in Easy. And oh, it's meant to be super-campy. So much. LEARN TO ENJOY IT
Well DMC 4 tried to be a bit more dramatic but yeah the cheese is definitely there.

And it's not just any regular brand ham, we're talking about Black Forest variety.
"Just wants a friend but had to give up his ding dong for it, tragic." - AngelLightStarYou might even say its ham so fine that even the Devil may cry ;)
Also, yes feeling out of your depth at the beginning is normal, at least in my experience. I played the original game in normal first, switched to easy, then back to normal when I knew what I was doing.

Same here, though I never did decide to go back onto normal.
The third fight with Nero Angelo is really annoying.
I have to admit, this guy is pretty cool:
This is Dante must Die difficulty he's playing on.
Man, Mundus sure looks like he turns up the Bullet Hell on that difficulty.

Watch SymphogearThe Devil May Cry series is one where if your good enough, what happens on screen is simply awesome. I mean I think I saw one guy on Youtube who mastered the Royal Guard style to a t and decided to try it on Final Boss Vergil.
The results were spectacular, that's all I really have to say.
I think I heard somewhere that RG, if mastered, is the most powerful style in the game. I certainly believe that after nearly one shoting a Hell Vanguard with it.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's basically the Difficult, but Awesome trope in a nutshell.
And I wouldn't know the difficulty of performing it in the various games, I hardly ever used it.
I only used it in Bloody Palace when I felt like giving myself a challenge. Both the Circle+Back abilities are pretty much useless, though.
Likes many underrated webcomicsThe rumors about Royal Guard are very, very true. Here's the video Hellman was talking about, I believe.
Blocking every single hit of Virgil's Super Judgement Cut.
"Badass" doesn't even begin to describe that.

The HD collection is out... is there anything new comared to the originals? Like, a chapter selection in DMC 1 or style-switch in 3?
