Ick. I know that example. It's a decent example (she's casting a big spell with a finger and without a Magic Wand) but not one that's communicated well by screenshots.
Maybe one of Superman's finger flicks?

Superman works. Demonstrates the example without needing to know the context.

Finger poke of doom is supposed to be a lame ending to a fight, hell it has its own Wikipedia article. By making the finger poke look impressive you are defeating the purpose. This was the lamest event in the history of professional wrestling so I vote for the trope maker.

Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackYeah, this trope was named after something that... has a lot of different connotations for those who know what it was named after
. Probably an issue for Trope Repair Shop to handle.

I like Superman.
@Cider: The Fingerpoint Of Doom trope is about doing an impressive amount of damage with a tiny amount of effort. It's like Cherry Tapping, but it doesn't have to be a weak attack; just one that obviously doesn't take much effort.

Isshin Kurosaki from Bleach sends the Big Bad flying. With just his middle finger.
I'd say Superman is still the best.
Isshin isn't in color and you have to get all three panels to make it clear.
One Piece is kinda iffy quality and looks too much like a punch.

The picture for Finger Poke of Doom just doesn't convey the trope. It's just some random Anime character pointing a finger at the screen with a sad expression. The trope is about using something like a finger to attack as a form of Cherry Tapping or saving energy, and any image would have to convey that the finger is doing damage. The only damage I can see in the picture are some blurry buildings in the background, and I don't think those look like the result of the finger poke. Hell, from what I can tell, the girl is just pointing at someone.
Any new image idea needs to show the trope: Someone attacking with a finger (Or other body part that shows lack of effort, but finger works best), preferably doing damage without showing visible effort.
