Minori Kushieda ain't a bad choice, actually. She's just a more tame version of Suzumiya.
...and no one has mentioned Nagi Sanzenin yet.
My FF.net accountJust for the Rie Kugimiya? Everyone loves Hina anyway, so it doesn't matter. :)
Say, out of curiosity, do my posts like these piss you off?

I'm more of a Well-Intentioned Extremist, in terms of double posting.

"The only real complaint I have about the show is that A) It's not really that *special* It's good, but offers very little that is unique and B) Why would anyone pick Taiga when Ami's around?"
I agree with both of those but my main issue with Toradora was the blandness of the Taiga/Ryugi romantic story. It's pretty much set up in episode one that they'll get together and then the rest of the show is how the get to that point. But then...they still try to throw in "suspense" of who Ryuji and/or Taiga will end up with in the end! If you know the inevitable outcome, no one's gonna care!
And I disagree with Killer Rabbit's statement. I found the supporting cast (Yuusako, Minori, and particularly Ami) to be much better than Ryuji and Taiga. Not only was their romance (the center of the show) poorly written, but Taigia was a Class A Generic Tsundere and Ryuji was a pansy.

"Love is like war: Easy to begin but hard to end." - Anonymousyuuji's mom was interesting beyond the obvious good looks. She was mostly sad, when you take a second look at her. One of those persons who could have made it far in life with their good looks and charming personality, but somehow made all the wrong choices and messed themselves up.
The interesting point (that was never brought up explicitly) was the implication that Ryuuji was about to screw up his own life in exactly the same way. It was actually one of my favourite aspects of the show.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntAnother anime that gets a lot of flak:
Second half of Death Note.
I'm just gonna be an iconoclast, though, and say right now that I think all the haters are wrong. The second half of Death Note is, if not as good as the first, not nearly as bad as everyone says. Everyone whines about Mello and Near, but the whines all boil down to "they're not L". While true, they're not the soulless shells that everyone calls them. They're interesting characters on their own, and their arc is just as interesting as the one before it. I miss L too, but I liked the second half of Death Note almost as much as the first and nothing anyone says will change that.
Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.

Yes it is totally wrong. Get outta this thread! -points to the imaginary thread door-
