Anna sighed, making no sign of having heard the boy behind her, and decided to go with the direct approach. "Look, Tsuki. Stop beating yourself up about this stuff. I don't mind, alright? It wasn't a very exciting duel anyway, and there are far better ways you could have spent your time than watching me win by default. So, enough already."

GM: AGOG S4 & F/WC RP; Co-GM: TABA, SOTR, UUA RP; Sub-GM: TTS RP. I have brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to my new Empire.Tsuki sighed in response. "I know, I know, it's just— this was the first real time you saw me duel in front of everyone and it seems kinda mean of me to skip out partway through, for whatever reason. No—" She held up a hand to forestall Anna's reply. "It was my bad, and I'm gonna make it up to you: I'll get you whatever you want from the dessert list, tomorrow in the cafeteria."
She raised a finger, wagging it jokingly at Anna. "No complaints from you, okay? This was my choice to make, and I'm gonna go through with it whatever you say."

Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)"I guess asking you to stop beating yourself is a forlorn deed, is it not?" Ryu asked Tsuki.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Tsuki took a deep breath, and then turned a glassy smile to Ryu.
"Yes. It is. Now kindly allow me to have my conversation with my friend."
She turned back to Anna, making it as clear as possible that he was not to interrupt any longer and awaiting an answer.
Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)"Very well", Ryu said. Why does it seem that that girl hates me? He asked Gearfried. No idea, the knight answered. I'm just your average armour-encased Proud Warrior Race Guy. How should I know? Real helpful, commented Ryu.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Scott smiled as he received his draw. "I'm sorry, Jerry, but this isn't going to be that easy," He said, "But I'll let you figure that out yourself. I set one monster face down, and then one more card in my own back row. Your move."
Hey! Read my fanfic: HereAs Sean drew, he checked his remaining life points. What the hell am I even doing? the Obelisk student asked himself. This duel is a waste of my time.
SEAN'S LP: NOT LOOKING GOOD
Why can't I win? No matter what I do... No matter what I try... Why do I fail? Why must those Reds continue to be a perpetual thorn in my side?! WHY?!
"WHY?!"
Sean realised this last point was spoken aloud. He cared not anymore. "This duel is over. Enjoy your wretched, ruined future in flames, Red. I hope it is everything you invisioned."
Sean left the warehouse with a feeling of anger washing over him. The Light had abandonned him. It had left him at the mercy of the raging flames of the underworld and chose not to get involved. He gazed at the duel disk on his arm and the cards that made up his deck. He wasn't sure if he could restrain his fury for much longer before losing it... Well, more so than he already had at any rate.

"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValJohnny spit at the ground in front of him. "Are you really that pitiful? Running away whenever things aren't perfect? Well, Pixie, here's a little hint; life isn't perfect. Hell, a lot of it just outright sucks. Running away won't solve anything but prove you're a baby that can't take reality. Grin and bear it has been humanity's approach for a very long time. But we change things to make them better. Are you one of the people that can change the world, Pixie? Or do you pay people for that?"

"Not so fast, Scott!" Jerry hissed. "Before you end your turn, I activate Mystical Space Typhoon, destroying your face-down card! Perhaps you'd like to respond before we move on to my turn?"
He frowned.
"And why didn't you feel Tyrannus's attack? You said you were ready... That we'd fight for real... What's the trick, Scott? What's the secret? WHAT MAKES IT REAL?"
Jerry's roar of anger ended with a harsh, wet cough, and a hiss of pain as he clutched his chest.
Angela turned to Barnaby, her concern obvious.
"I think something's wrong with Parker... You think we should call Blair? I mean, he's your student, and I don't even like him, but..."

Sean had had enough of this smartass. Spinning on his heels, the Blue charged the Red and hoisted him by the collar. "Listen here, Red," spat the Blue, literally. "There are a few things you should learn in your life and one is to not burn bridges with those who hold your future. In the end, this a game. A game I, along with everyone on this island, takes seriously but a game nonetheless. When the real world comes up to you and smacks you in the face, perhaps you'll realise then that fire cannot solve your problems. The flames of Hell will only serve to render you a pathetic little man with pathetic little dreams which get him nowhere. That is your future.
"My future is one with the Light. I shall return home after this retreat and assume the role at the head of the family business when my father dies. I shall look after my sister and those who I respect. You are not amongst them. You, who opposes the Light, shall be brought to your knees and forced to beg for mercy I shall not give. Only the Light is perfect. Learn this lesson soon, because you do not have much more time before your dream world is shattered and the real world hits you like a train plowing through a haystack.
"I will change the world and it will be for the better. I will get rid of scum like you and bring about a beautiful new time for the Light. I shall be mankind's hero against the vermin that try and spoil it from within. Watch, because I, Sean Abeu, shall revolutionize the world. Whether it's ready or not."

"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValJohnny smiled. It was not a mad smile, nor an Evil Grin. It was a genuine smile.
"You're a revolutionary?" Johnny asked sincerely. "Because that, Pixie, is perfect. You are exactly the kind of person I'm looking for. Not my personal favorite, but the perfect kind of person. I have only two questions before I explain. The first is, what revolution will you fight in- what are you going to make better or worse? The second is, do you realize that this isn't just a card game? Not quite? It's something more... The beliefs of man, holding the power of over five thousand years of faith. And, like every faith, it has a god. In your revolution, do you not want God on your side? Because I can help you get him there."
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Barnaby nodded to Angela. "We shouldn't interrupt the duel unless absolutely necessary, but given this school's reputation, I'm surprised Mr. Cain didn't think to have medics on standby.
With that, he made a quick scan of the crowd to see if Blair was among them, pulling out his cell phone as he did so.
Add me on Skype: Al Cook (darnpenguin)Blair shook her head from the hallway looking into the main area of the arena. Jerry was getting too worked up. She had warned him about this. He'd open up his wound if he continued on like this.
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Barnaby raised an eyebrow in her direction. "Of course not," he reassured her. "I just said we should avoid getting directly involved if at all possible. You know I'm not really the 'hero' type."
He returned his gaze to the duel. Three quarters of this school are closer to that arena than I am right now. Please, pick one of them to intervene if something drastic is needed, he prayed to nobody in particular. Ever since he'd arrived on this island trying to make a normal life for himself, he had found himself thrust into one extraordinary situation after another. He had gained so much in the process of surviving them - he could never regret meeting Angela - but he was where he wanted to be now and ready to settle into a comfortable tedium until the day he died.
Add me on Skype: Al Cook (darnpenguin)Sean lowered Johnny. "You are an oddball amongst oddballs, Red. My goal is to bring about change in the stagnancy that is my life back home. There is backstabbing, there is blackmail. The only way I can save my sister from that hell is to succeed in my perpetual pursuit of greatness. I must make it clear to those who would see me fall that I am not weak. That I am not to be crossed. That I command absolute power! They will be subservient for their own sake. I will end the bickering and the powermongering, by any means necessary.
"As for the talk of gods, I am aware of the Egyptians. Funny that such supposedly infallible gods fall victim to some of the most basic defenses. Mirror Force and Black Rose Dragon shred them while my multitude of Fairies can halt their charge in its tracks. I have my own god that I follow and such mindless banter will not persuade me to abandon the Light. I told you then and I tell you know that I will work with the Light or bend it to my will to succeed. Failure is no longer an option."
"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior Val"The gods I speak of cannot be stopped by such weak cards." Johnny said their name very, very lowly so that only the two of them could hear.
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Tsuki blinked. Odd. Even though Scott and Jerry were taking their time to do their turns, somehow the seconds seemed to stretch out before her like an eternity, a dark road that flickered and shimmered like phantoms in daylight.
Then the moment passed, and she scratched her head to dislodge an almost fluffy feeling from inside her head.
Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)"No, it's just that I've got that funny feeling... I am starting to think something is wrong with that duel, for though my brain tells me it took a few minutes at the most, I keep getting the feeling that it took way longer then that..."
