Same here. Kurt's line about how his life didn't come down to a single event really felt true to me. I was in tears much of the episode and thought it was a beautiful hour of TV. Like Finn (and Cory), it was sweet and a little bit flawed- a perfect tribute.
Well I like tonight's episode. Unique was inspiring, Marley was saddening, Kurt and Rachel were cute (Especially Rachel's tattoo), and even the twerking issue was argued pretty well.
I liked Blurred Lines more than I thought than I would. All the guys were hot...
As for last episode which no one talked about, I didn't like it as much.
Seems that this thread is dead since no one else is even talking about the show anymore. So sad...
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayDarren Criss is being adorable as usual.
This was a good episode.
Sam skipping college for modeling (and still looking hot...was that Tyra Banks?), Blaine pretending to want to be a doctor, Becky being able to get out of McKinley, Marley getting with Ryder and Blaine being fine with it, and Sue recognizing that the music comes out of nowhere. xD
Also it looks like Rachel and Sam may be a thing...
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayYes, that was Tyra Banks!
I love that Marley showed her independence. She doesn't need a boyfriend!
Does anyone else think Samchel is a little Too Soon?
‽‽‽‽ ^These are interrobangs. Love them. Learn them. Use them.Everybody who is not me. :p
But apparently Lea said that Rachel's not even going to have any romance this season.
Still, I don't think that she should never again have a boyfriend. Lea herself could wait as long as she wants, but Rachel likes to be in love.
Marley though can stay an untouched flower.

You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayMy TV box is dead so I had to watch last week's episode on Hulu today, but that's fine since this thread floats on life support.
Blaine going crazy with puppets and the gas leak was funny. And all the puppets themselves were cute in such a creepy way.
Jake being a manslut is sad, though he seems pretty far along that it doesn't look like he'd change too soon.
And that Fox song is bizarre no matter where it's sung.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayAaaaand I didn't finish The Quarterback in time for it to expire. Oops.
But I watched "Tina in the Sky with Diamonds." That bit about "I haven't been with an actual lesbian before, just bisexuals and 'experimenters'" bit was kinda eye-rolly, yeah.
I am so far behind.

Something odd I noticed, the past few years, Glee's Christmas songs have been working their way onto Christmas stations. This year it suddenly stopped. Do you suppose it's more a local thing, a timing thing, or are the kinds of stations that play Christmas music worried about associating with a show where the lead actor died of a heroin overdose?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI dunno. Before the store I worked at started playing Christmas songs, they were playing Rachel's Get It Right and her and Marley's New York State of Mind.
Which I found weird. I didn't think Glee was THAT popular.
I haven't heard any Christmas songs from them, though I think they play the music quieter now.
...
As for where YOU are, maybe they've just moved on from Glee already.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would staySo I'm making a media presentation over Glee for an adolescent psychology course, but I'm only using the first season because that seems most pertaining to adolescents. Also the main characters.
I'm not entirely sure which characters to focus on because Glee has a lot of plotlines. Though for now I'm working on the Rachel-Finn-Quinn-Puck rectangle because that was a pretty big arc. All about status and romance and drama, with mention of the glee club as a catalyst.
I thought maybe talking about Kurt because he's what made Glee so big in gay news, though he's not part of THAT drama, and he didn't start dating Blaine until season 2.
So I dunno...
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayThe series really changes as it goes on. Lately it's more about what the kids do now that glee club is over, when at the beginning they're all most like teenagers.
Anyway, I'm listening to Mercedes' Colorblind and it really seems like The Cover Changes the Meaning, even though it's already Amber's song. :p
In the show Mercedes uses it to say how she doesn't see race, but the lyrics make it sound like her lover has dimmed her outlook on life.
At a really deep level, I guess it's how Sam's changed Mercedes view of a color-separated world, but it sounds rather depressed about it.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayThey're still doing a sixth season last I knew. Following Rachel with her TV show and glancing at all the other kids.
As for Becca's boyfriend, ah, the Glee stars have a lot of bad luck. But when you have so many characters there's bound to be a lot of drama.
