I am new at this, so expect mistakes.

Genocide Attack is all right though, isn't it?

Overriding Mirage

2U

Enchant Land

You control enchanted land. The opponent formerly in control of that land controls target land you control.

^That's an interesting effect, but it might fit in better with an adjective before "Mirage." Behold.

Mirage is also the name of an expansion; interestingly enough, one which contains this card.

And, I didn't mean to call you out for making a mistake—card building isn't an exact science. I just wanted to show you some other cards which were similar. (And by W/B hybrid I meant hybrid mana, like this. I think 1BW would be overpricing it.)

IMO, Genocide Attack would be overpriced even if it didn't come with so many restrictions—kills your own creatures and only your creatures, gets only creatures of the same type. Maybe 3BB and getting all creatures of that type on both sides of the board.

let's see, Item Break, Chariot (how am I going to rename that?!), Blizzard/Diamond Dust, Thunderbolt (no need!), Banish, Kiss of Death (I know that will be black...), Revolution, Insanity (what does that even do?), Necro Gate...

Yes, I'm working off a theme. Sue me.

I would totally wear an Armadillo Cloak in real life, even if it didn't actually do anything for me. ...Oh man, I need to cosplay as some card from Magic wearing an Armadillo Cloak. No one will get it, but it'll still be awesome.

  • Chariot of the War God
  • Sorcery
  • 2WW
  • If target opponent controls more creatures than you, he/she sacrifices creatures until he/she has an equal amount of creatures as you.

  • Diamond Dust
  • 1UU
  • Sorcery? Instant?
  • Return target permanent to its owner's hand. Treat all lands as snow-covered until end of turn.

  • Reincarnation
  • Sorcery
  • WWWWW
  • Choose a creature you control. For each creature put into your graveyard this turn, put a token into play that counts as a copy of the chosen creature. If the chosen creature is a legend, the legend rule does not apply to any copies put into play in this way.

Would these be good? Also, I don't remember ever seeing an Insanity card

Anyway, costs for these?

  • Oath Sworn Through Courage
  • green
  • Sorcery
  • Put a number of loyalty counters on target planeswalker you control equal to the number of creatures you control that have recieved a +X/+X bonus this turn, where X is any positive integer. (There needs to be a general term for this...)

  • Oath Sworn in Blood
  • black
  • Sorcery
  • As an additional cost to play this, sacrifice any number of creatures you control. Put a number of loyalty counters on target planeswalker you control equal to the number of creatures you sacrificed this turn.

There probably needs to be blue, white and red versions as well....

Yeah, those look good. Wasn't expecting Reincarnation to be white though.

Insanity is Soltier's card in Blaze Union. It apparently does random damage and inflicts a random status effect. It's not a very good card.

Looks like Reincarnation being white is a flavor thing. If it were black, it'd be called Reanimation and put tokens into play that were black and had "zombie" in addition to their other creature types. And maybe a -1/-1 counter or some kind of sacrifice ability.

Lemme try my hand at this.

Psyflash

  • XRW
  • Sorcery
  • Psyflash deals X damage to all creatures opponents control.

Electromagnetic Pulse

  • 4RR
  • Instant
  • Tap all artifacts and creatures. Electromagnetic Pulse deals 4 damage to all artifact creatures.

EDIT: I just noticed the gosh-awful spacing, how do I get the word Psyflash to be closer to its text?

You can't. It's the result of using a list.

If you didn't use a list you could \\\\ to make newlines.

Owl From Beyond
X1B
Creature - Bird
1/1
Flying
When Owl From Beyond enters the battlefield, target creature gets +X/+0 until end of turn.

Well what do you know. Thanks Awe Striker!

The "X from Y" name made me think of one of my favorite ideas:

The Color Out of Space UB 2

  • Enchantment - Creature Aura
  • Enchanted creature is purple in addition to its other colors.
  • Whenever enchanted creature enters combat, destroy all nonartifact creatures blocking or blocked by it. (Or banded with it, like that's ever gonna happen.)
  • If enchanted creature is targeted by a nonartifact creature's activated ability, that creature is destroyed.
    • "Let's never speak of this again," Dr. Markham suggested, once they were done vomiting.

I kinda want to see another Un-set. Some of those cards were hilarious. That being said, I have an idea for an normal card.

1U

Anti-antimagic

As Anti-antimagic comes into play, choose a spell on the stack.

Counter target spell that counters the chosen spell.

I was just thinking of a card that enters the stack with a few copies of itself that could target any permanent, spell, player, activated ability, graveyard, or card in a graveyard, and anything else that's an eligible target for spells that I can't remember.

The card wouldn't do anything on its own other than target some things and make copies of itself that did the same. I know a few ways in which it could be used, but I'm curious if you guys can come up with something more interesting.

Something like that would be good with Dovescape, right?

Ruining everything forever.
