Can't say it's an accomplishment, more like my tech stupidity: FINALLY (!!!) got Shannara to work with sound. Turns out I didn't notice that the setsound.exe file shows that the options for both music and speech were "NO SOUND CARD" I quickly corrected that of course.

After a few more stupidass missions, I finally unlocked more songs in Black Square. Now that leaves only 1 more song to unlock, but it's in the next area, and FUCK DOING LIKE 3 OR 4 MISSION CLUBS IN A ROW.

And why should I care for that song? I've already unlocked Super Lovely.

Made it three and a half days into Dead Rising's Infinity

! Mode. For those of you unfamiliar, that's seven hours worth of game time.

And I had seven hours worth left to complete. Promptly said "tch, screw that", and went and killed zombies on Call Of Duty instead.

Still proud of myself, though. That's two days longer than my best.

Beat the Extra Stage in Imperishable Night.

I'd say that Mokou needs to die in a fire, but... yeah.

I beat the four main games in the Chzo Mythos. The ending was certainly unexpected. The hallucinations in the last two were fun.

Got to 10 wins in PunchOut's Last Stand, got all the Exhibition challenges done (unfortunately, in a previous save point, so I need to redo), and beat all the Contender opponents with Champions Mode on.

Also beat An Untitled Story on Regular with 100% items. And beyond. All house items bought and all costumes bought too.

EDIT: Okay, I lied. I just remembered I didn't beat Donkey Kong's Exhibition challenges. Darn it.

I got the Platinum trophy for Bioshock on the PS 3. The only trophies that were a real pain to get were the Historian and Tonic Collector: the rest were easy, compared to those two.

I just finished my "No items" run in Exit Fate (That's no armor, no accessories, and no expendable items except brown potions and silver dust, and I only used those because it's more fun than passing your turn. Weapon enhancements and spells, of course, were perfectly fine), with all party members except Marcello, Yomiko and Gilbert recruited at or near the earliest possible point in the game. Honestly, I'm not sure that's a "recent" accomplishment though: I had taken a hiatus from the challenge run at the steps of the Hall of Memories, and other than Luther's sidequest that's kind of the point where the game turns around and switches from getting progressively harder to progressively easier. Which means all but one of the hard parts were done two months ago. The final level was at least significantly less of a letdown this time, though, and the final boss had me thinking.

I think maybe I'll try a "Silly characters" run—only use the guys who are NOT meant to be combat characters, letting Daniel act as the party's one competent member, except whenever the plot requires bringing somebody in which case they become the ass-kicking Guest-Star Party Member. Or maybe I'll let Daniel "Tag in" another competent character from the entourage, as long as only one is fielded at a time. Oh, and no armor, though I'll allow accessories and the choice of boots or helmet to compensate for the fact that none of my party will be able to even dent the bosses if I don't do something. And no stealing, since all three thieves automatically count as competent. Oh yes, this does sound humorous.

Your funny quote here! (Maybe)

I got second place in a costume contest in City of Heroes.

That counts as a Video Game Accomplishment, right?

Finally, finally cleared all the bonus stages for Haruna's route in Battle Moon Wars. Did it ever take near Herculean dedication to get all those battle masteries (All. 52. Of. Them).

Which was when I found out that I still couldn't get the bonus character, because I still didn't meet the additional prerequisite total of 45 combined kills with the maids. Which rather sucked (the wind out of my sails)...

And so now repeating all that fun on the Takumi route. Oh well. At least I've got Saber Lily.

Actually playing a videogame at all, since I am visiting a friend who owns a console. tongue

More specifially, Fable2. And after finally getting the hang of expressions, etc, I now have a noblewoman who is very much in love with me (who is female, fwiw). trouble is, I realised she will be expensive. My current goals are thus trying to get money to afford both a nice enough ring, and a house for us (I have my gypsy wagon, but A, I am renting it out and B, it's hardly in her style, is it?). I originally intended only a sexual encounter, but now that feels tacky.

So, the main quest is on standby; the Heroine is trying to settle down with viv, villa, vovve, Volvo as we say in Swedish. Now, what job will give me the most money...? I am somewhat advanced in blacksmithing, despite sucking a building up chains...

Has anyone managed 100% Completion on anything without a walkthrough?

Because that really would be impressive...

Got 3-Stars in every cup on every speed in Mario Kart DS (this was a couple years ago, though...).

Beat I Wanna Be The Guy on Hard Mode.

Beat Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia on Hard Mode (I also got every Boss Medal except for Brachyura, Albus, Eligor, and Dracula).

Beat Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin on Hard Mode at MAX Level 1 (and conquered the Nest of Evil).

I got "Brass Balls" (Bio Shock: beat the game on hard with Vita-Chambers disabled). On my third play-through on Hard.

I would have done it in one but I quit for over a year because the first Rosie kept kicking my ass; in the interim, the 360 had to be replaced, so the save data didn't keep the update that turned off the Vita-Chambers. On the second time, I forgot to disable them and didn't realize it until I died. On the third, I died only a few times, but I had the chambers off.

On all three plays, however, I never lost to the Final Boss. Electric Gel and Reduced Ammo Consumption for the Chemical Thrower and the Security Bullseye plasmid make it a lot easier than it looks.

I beat An Untitled Story. HEAR ME ROAR. What an awesome game.

Except I still can't beat that stupid jerk in the pink cloudy area. ARGH. THAT GUY. And for some reason I can't see a bloody thing in the Dark Grotto.

 * So I can't go there at all. I think it's my graphics card. Old laptop is old. But still. I BEAT IT. RAWWWRRRRGGGHHHH.

While certainly not the greatest of achievements listed here, a personal victory of mine was finishing the original two Fallout games. Granted, I did have the help of a very good guide, but it still took what seemed like forever, especially considering I had never played a turn-based game before, so adjusting to the combat system (not to mention the learning curve) made the first hours a bit rough going. I guess the greatest accomplishment would be defeating Frank Horrigan in 3 turns flat without any external help and by only using the wall turret and not EC Company. Of course, that too was also because of an astonishingly well-timed critical hit.

By the way I'm new here hi!
