If Leia were a man, no one would think The Chick based on that personality. Star Wars isn't even that great of an example anyway when it comes to Five Man Bands. They never really form a coherent Band. Chewbacca is The Lancer to Han, who is The Lancer to Luke, unless Leia is being The Lancer to Han. C-3PO fits a better Chick (his personality on a human female would scream it), but he mostly just teams up with R 2 D 2. They never really stick together and play those parts. We just use their images because everyone recognizes them.
that on Five-Man Band and solo shots on each page would work perfectly.
When they're together they clearly make up a five man band (and the roles are easy to pick out IMO), but separate not so much... maybe same pic five times with a different one highlighted in each? (Or other four darkened.)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Blegh; that would grow to be repetitive. Plus, The Big Guy isn't easy to make out unless you force upon the reader "this is the big guy"; same goes for The Lancer.

I thought The Big Guy was the one who is... bigger?
Not always, but visually, sure. And on that show, sure. I think Voltron is excellent. I mean, the proposed way is exactly how we're using the Star Wars cast, only the Voltron examples would actually fit.

Only at the end of ep 4 everything else she is the Action Girl. She takes charge and dives into the garbage thing, kills jabba ect but she does get The Chick moments here and there not enough to define her as one though.
