For what it's worth, the anime adaptation on Crunchyroll ; that should at least make checking it out easier.
While the show itself has mercifully little-to-none fanservice, it does portray its grown woman protagonist who loves little girls and dresses them up in cute clothes in a very sympathetic light. (Of the "sure, she's a bit creepy, but she's really harmless and misunderstood" kind.)
The manga is definitely not sexual, and while the protagonist is not portrayed as a bad person, the manga does seem to lean more towards her less savory actions as socially inept at best and creepy at worst.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."Do we not cut romantic pedo-pandering?
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. From what I've seen of this series, what little there is is extremely tame, to the point it seems more like Cuteness Proximity to me that legit romance. I find it less objectionable than Lucoa and Shota's relationship in Dragon Maid, and nobody's arguing to cut that show for it. Voting keep.
No offense, but this... doesn't seem like that kind of series to me. Mya-nee's behavior strikes me more as a complete lack of social skills than pedophilia.
To answer your question, if we do count whitewashing as actual pedophilia, then to my understanding, otherwise completely kosher series like My Hero Academia, Azumanga Daioh, and Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid would have to go. I'd be inclined to say no.

We even have an entire trope to jokes about it....
And yes this is such a common joke about weirdos in even mainstream stuff like the above.
. That it's not really worth getting into.
