Are The Never Ending Story III DVD or Superman At Earths End worth millions of dollars?
Hey everyone, just recently got back into AVGN and Mr. Rolfe's other creations. Enjoying Monster Madness '11 btw.
Just watching the new one now. I remember reading a review of the Genesis version of Dark Castle some time ago and thinking, "There's no way a video game could be this impossibly bad." I actually thought prior to recently checking up all the games he's covered as AVGN that he had reviewed it ages ago. Certainly deserving.
Why is it that Jamrs can have a beard, but The Nerd is always clean-shaved?
@Robbie The reason why I asked about his opinion on Jersey Shore is because he is from New Jersey.

I love this guy's videos, both the nerd vids and the ones where he's just being himself. I personally think the avgn is the best out of all the "Angry reviewers".
What would be your top 5 avgn videos? For me:
5:Halloween.
4: Super mario bros 3/The Wizard.
3:Godzilla nes.
2:Plumbers don't wear ties,
1:Dr. Jykll and Mr. Hyde revisited.
Pretty hard choices but:
5. CD-i series: It was good to see some gameplay beyond just the cheesy cutscenes.
4. Action 52/Cheetahmen: I count it as a two-parter at least. It's just such an oddity that you can't take your eyes off.
3. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde Revisited: It was great to see him go back to his demon. He went really in-depth as well.
2. Dick Tracy: I love this episode because you could absolutely feel his frustration from playing it as a kid. It's so relatable.
1. Plumbers Don't Wear Ties: Okay, the episode was pretty much the game itself with little jokes from James, but holy shit is this hard to top. The whole game is just such a groaner that you wonder what the fuck went wrong.

This is from a while back, but I put off saying it until now. Now, I remember when Rolfe told about the article he wrote for his school newspaper, for the then-upcoming Nintendo64 (development title: Ultra 64). Imagine my surprise when, one or two weeks later, I found his article again. The school I went to, YALE High School (no relation), published some student-made articles from their history as part of some graduation day celebration. That Ultea 64 article was one of the articles included - it was even signed "James Rolfe" and had a note saying it was published in 1995.
James Rolfe never said what school that article was for, which got me wondering whether he was a YALE alumni. I may need to look into this more.

"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"I think it's supposed to be focusing on E.T. for the Atari 2600, last I recall. All I do know is that auditions for parts were held late last year.

Does anyone know James' opinion on Jersey Shore?
