An interesting fact about Lady Gaga. She was once in a Duran Duran video
.
I'd like to put down "I don't wanna think anymore" as a prime Fridge Horror example of Lady Gaga.
At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff...Hey, you know that Jukebox Musical I mentioned earlier that features Born This Way as a Villain Song?
First draft is finished! TBH I wasn't putting in my best writing skills, I was really just trying to get the whole thing out on paper to basically demonstrate how it would go.

I'm not normally very keen on Lady Gaga, though I like the songs on this album much better than the ones that were on the previous one (though I admit I've only really heard the singles).
Does it seem like this is getting much less attention than the first one did, though? I mean, it's been a big hit so far and it's singles have demonstrated a much bigger hit ratio than a lot of contemporary pop albums, but it doesn't seem like the massive hit that The Fame was between 2008 and 2009.
The album is the biggest and one of the best albums of the year. It's a wonderful album, but, oddly, it's not as radio friendly as one would think.
Likely due to her subject material and who it's directed to - outcasts, LGBT people, and those that aren't "normal". Her image and subject material also seem to have alienated a lot of people. I noticed that while tailgating in a football stadiums parking lots, the college students who were blasting music were not playing any Lady Gaga - but they were playing every other pop star. The people she targets listen to her and love her, but, while mainstream, she doesn't seem to popular with the "cool" kids anymore as she was during her The Fame era.
That's my perception at least.

I'd recommend the Official Charts Company, but I don't think they have information about sales figures.
Wikipedia is probably as good a source as any for that kind of thing. They usually have sales figures on most discography pages.
Gaga is definitely the biggest single pop star around at the moment.

I just checked the chart archives. Adele's album was number one for a much longer time. Over in the UK, Lady Gaga's new album debuted at number one and had a couple following non-consecutive weeks at number one. It typically stays at number 3 with Adele at the top.
Either Adele is just more popular in the UK or Lady Gaga is less popular. I'm thinking the former. She's pretty popular over here, too, though.

So, it seems she released another single from the new album!
I liked the shift in style in that one.
No regret shall pass over the threshold!
