They put LIONS IN SIDECARS AND DRIVE ON THE WALL.
◊ The world is badass. :D
Also, it turns out nature developed the nuclear reactor a long time before we did.
What was that first one, an old Barnum & Bailey promotional pic?

Seriously, that sounds awesome and I wanna see!
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold. Why not wear your Klein bottle hat with your Mobius scarf? :D
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI have one of those. A family member made it for me. :D
And, since Freezair didn't provide a link - here
you can order a Klein bottle hat for the nearest zero-volume head!
If we're not limiting this to contemporary weirdness, I have a bit of a fondness for OOParts
.
Beyond that it's fun to say, I mean.

The avatar picture I'm currently using is a giant fiberglass brain designed as a camper top for a pick up truck. It is owned by an executive of the company whose property I work at as a guard.
It is about eight feet tall, twelve feet long, and has a double door in the back.
One of his employees found it on the side of the road and purchased it from the original owner because he knew his boss would like it.
There is no rational reason for this thing to exist, and yet it does. And it. Is. Awesome.
Anyone else know of things like this? Please share.
