From what I can tell Ian Samson is either a big fan of the two who write The Wotch, or a good friend. Probably, and, actually, most likely both. They've had a sort of alliance for a while, I think.
In any case, I think them closely working together would probably be good thing, if only because it'd probably help The Wotch a great deal.
ICS has drawn month-spanning series of Sunday Special pages for The Wotch.
Re Reality: Woah, I have a lot catch up with.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Just got a new batch of pages
, finishing off chapter 8. I had to go back and reread the whole thing to remember how we got here. Training from Hell or Todo being Oblivious to Love, or both? You decide! Anyway, this is self-admitted filler, as the next dramatic arc is about to begin.
Is it just me, or is anyone else a bit tired of series that amp up the UST without ever delivering? I suppose that the Shipping Bed Death phenomenon is the reason, but it drives me up the wall.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Isn't it already resolved? Todo and AV are an Official Couple. Everything else is just Slap-Slap-Kiss between the OTP.
AV was particularly Fetish Fuel-worthy in this chapter, from the Sexy Socks to the "roomie" fantasy. Or maybe I'm just PSLing.

Oh, no, you aren't. I realize they're Official, I guess I'm talking about the actual "doing it" part. Which is my own form of SL (not really Perverse if you think about it).
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I think that that may be a side effect of its PG-rated inspirations, where a kiss was a huge deal. It'd be nice to see it subverted, though. I could completely imagine the comic just casually mentioning that Todo and AV have been doing it all this time, even if it was left off screen.
So, who wants to take bets that the comic cannot get through the next arc without getting political? If it can survive this one without turning Anvilicious then I'll get real confident about it not jumping the shark anytimke soon.
Interesting; I hope Unity World doesn't turn out to be a Crapsaccharine World, I'd be nice to have a totalitarian utopia to balance out Reality's anarchist utopia. And Didly continues to be an extremely fascinating character.

I'm still thinking that Fields is a Red Herring, and Victor is the one behind truly behind the terrible time travel tragedy.
Also, ominous endings: never good.
This webcomic was recommended to me by the guys at[url]http://badwebcomics.wikidot.com/forum/t-200439/city-of-reality
] of all people.LOL! I've just finished the archive binge and all I can say is : this story is brilliant.
BTW,whats with all this talk about an altenative Chapter 7 all about?
edited 5th Sep '11 9:24:55 PM by Rodongmu
It's not really alternative, the full Chapter 7 is actually made up by two versions of the same story. There is a link to story 1 on the first page of the chapter
if you have missed it.
I kinda envy you for being able to read it for the first time, it's pretty awesome. :D The author pulled a nice trick originally when he posted these: the pages you see in the second archive were posted as normal updates first, then when he got to the last page the whole archive was switched for what you see now.
I just have to say: The art is pretty good, but the way it is set up, with the motion comic esque click through, is just brilliant.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Agree, the new format is awesomely suited to the comic. And who saw the Paczat trick coming? [raises hand] I just didn't expect Rabbit to be so Genre Savvy about it. Problem is that the Paczats weren't waiting for them to stay fooled.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I saw it coming, but I was a little disappointed by it.
It would've been interesting if, despite the Paczats in general essentially being Always Chaotic Evil, this particular population became good-ish through necessity
Also, I like the way the generic Paczats' design drive home the fact that Didly is pretty wimpy by their standards.

Just re-read chapter 7 with the from that link you provided.Thank you.I always believe a good story should be able to hit you in the gut and damn,my jaws are still trembling from it.
On the latest update: HOLY S**T!!!! How the hell did the worlds manage to drive this guys back in the first place.

OH GOD HOW DID ANYONE KILL THEM!?!??!!?!? Methinks these are not just your average world destroying fear monsters...
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Gonna call the conclusion of this one
a Moment Of Awesome for Hawk.
Goddamnit, Didly
. Your cynicism is a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy. Although his entire speech does serve as a kind of Lampshade Hanging of the Deconstruction of the Mary Sue Topia. Wrap your head around that.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"

I'm not sure whether an alliance between City of Reality and The Wotch is a good sign or a very, very bad sign.
