-The missile pack HACS fire AA missiles at the A-10 whilst the Kraken activates it's lasers to prematurely detonate the munitions on the A-10s-
Shameless Self-promotion ho!Somehow I doubt it would be that accurate, and modern weaponry tends to be protected against cooking off. On a related note, the A-10's ammunition for its GAU-8 is behind the titanium "bathtub", rendering it mostly protected.
The GHOSTs switch off their electrical equipment as a flight of F-22s drop two bombs each in the midst of the HACS and the Kraken before speeding away...
Then the EMPs detonate, frying any and all electrical equipment within their large range.
The A-10s fly off, occasionally emitting peculiar noises.
Mitchell switches on his CrossCom. A loud pop greets him as the remnants of the EMP dissipate.
If we hadn't switched off our CrossCom...
Locking you up on radar since '09-The kraken is immobilized for a few minutes but it's backup systems kick in,it is slowly but surely fixing itself and it fires it's conventional ordinance at the GHOS Ts-
-The HACS are also springing back to life, as they have redundancies specifically designed to bypass EMP and other anti-electronic weapons-
Shameless Self-promotion ho!Another flight buzzes in with another load of EMPs... but these ones have a peculiar difference; though they are smaller, they have armour penetrators. The flight drop them on the Kraken, their momentum giving the bombs an impressive amount of kinetic energy, making them too quick for any anti-projectile measures.
Just as suddenly, the GHOSTs call in an artillery bombardment on the HACS' area.
Locking you up on radar since '09-The EMP bombs simply penetrate the Kraken's armor and severely damage it, causing it to topple-
-The HACS runs as far from the blast as possible and head straight for the GHOS Ts, though not without casualties-
-The missile pack HACS fire incendiary airburst missiles over the GHOST position-
Shameless Self-promotion ho!Do you think that I'm taking this too seriously?
"Take cover!"
Three of the GHOSTs make it into cover in time - Ramirez almost makes it and ends up with (extremely painful) burns. The rest of the squad winces as they hear his agonised screams. Brown hurries over and drags him into safety.
"Are you alright?"
"Agh... ah... it hurts..." He winces at seemingly every movement.
Ramirez's accuracy will probably be significantly reduced for a fair amount of time.
Locking you up on radar since '09-The HACS press on the attack and fire more rocket grenades at the position whilst 2 charge the position, chainsaws at the ready-
Shameless Self-promotion ho!I'm back! I'm bringing Shepard's standard 2 squadmates, and if you kill them, that's it. Yeah, you heard me, I'm stripping Shepard of Unity. There again, a krogan is hard to kill.
Shepard and team step out of the shuttle. He is far from the fight.
"Wow, this is a mess. Garrus, give me the medi-gel, looks like we'll have civilians to help."
"I thought Grunt had the medi-gel, Commander."
"Grunt, give me the medi-gel."
"Battlemaster, we don't have any. medi-gel. I should know, I live in the cargo hold."
"Sigh. Weapons ready. We don't know what we'll meet. Could be mechs, could be a krogan army."
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.-The HACS dodge, the blasts making them slightly loose their footing and leap towards the GHOSTs-
Marine: *sees Shepard and his team walk out from the shuttle* Who are those guys? *uses his scoped AK-74 on them to get a closer look*

Shameless Self-promotion ho!''Unaware of what is going on, Moss enters the combat theatre. On his person he carries a pencil, a pocket calculator, a cell phone, and a blue bic pen.''
Moss: Wow! Just... Wow! I am shocked and amazed. Amazed I say, and quite... quite shocked on top of it... Wow!
I better call the authorities, as these cads are up to no good.
Moss reaches for his cell phone, starts humming and dials.
Moss: Oh-one-one-eight nine-nine-nine! eight-eight-one nine-nine-nine, one-one-nine seven-two-five...
A small pause follows.
Moss: Three.

Hello new friend, my name is Fred the words you hear are in my head. I say, I said my name is Fred, and I've been... very naughty.Garrus, you see anything?
Garrus pulls out his sniper rifle, and looks ahead.
Mechs. Lots of them. I reckon you should hide. There's someone else looking down a scope.
Shepard's team move into an alleyway to avoid being sniped.

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.-One of the Missile pack HACS sees Moss-
HACS: Is that a civie?
Gershwin: *zooms in with his sights* Yep, And he seems to be calling in the authorities. Better tell Lorenz to block it. *does so*
Lorenz: *uses his jamming gear to block out all signals*
Marine: *notices he's been spotted, pulls out a white cloth and ties it to his rifle, saying that he isn't looking for trouble*

Shameless Self-promotion ho!EDI, the main route's a sniper killzone. Can you find another?
One moment, please.
There is an alternate route through the alleyways. Plotting it to your map, Shepard. It is also a good flanking position.
Shepard, they have sent out a jamming signal. I recommend you keep close to your team, as radio contact may fail. In the meantime, I will attempt to disrupt the jammer.
EDI is an advanced AI. Might be hard to jam her

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.HACS commander: *charges his HEL and obliterates whatever cover the GHOS Ts are hiding in*
Shameless Self-promotion ho!Moss, faced with a sudden missile barrage pounding on some kind of shelter stared wide-eyed in disbelief, dropping his cell-phone to the ground.
Moss: Oh-ehm-gee! This is flippin' unbelievable. Am I witnessining this? Are my eyes deceiving me?
Moss switches his glasses for a slightly bigger pair of glasses.
Moss: No, still the same.
Moss switches his slightly bigger pair of glasses for an even larger set.
Moss: Wow! That leaves me flabbergasted and breathless!
Moss looks at the carnage, flabbergasted and breathless.

Hello new friend, my name is Fred the words you hear are in my head. I say, I said my name is Fred, and I've been... very naughty.Moss looks down, and spots Yarrun Mace.
Moss: Origami? Ha! Do you mean: "Have you ever seen the Director's Cut of Blade Runner, better known as Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep as written by science fiction author Philip K Dick?". Sure I do know my Origami!
Moss picks up a leaflet flying about, starts folding paper and shows Yarrun Mace a small origami unicorn in his outstretched arm once he is finished.
Moss: In... my HAND, mother-sweet-talker. Sorry for the swearing. The highly unusual situation is getting to me.
Hello new friend, my name is Fred the words you hear are in my head. I say, I said my name is Fred, and I've been... very naughty. The HEL's firing triggers multiple anti-tank mines that the HACS are standing on.
The GHOST's jammers mean that the HEL fired at false targets.
Being that the jammer is based off of Guardrail IX tech, it is unlikely to be overwhelmed by anything the Marines can field.

Locking you up on radar since '09-some HACS survive as the anti-tank mines have small blast zones and the survivors activate their EDSU to locate the GHOS Ts via the high tech gear they are wearing-
Lorenz: *uses his high tech gear, namely long-range IR vision to pinpoint the real position of the GHOS Ts* They think they're better than us...
Gershwin: *receives the coordinates and fires a pair of thermobaric missiles at the GHOST position*
Shameless Self-promotion ho!^...My mind's a blank(and I suspect X-File's is, too).
Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman.

I know, right?
The GHOSTs get into as much cover as possible, mostly unaware of the Kraken.
The A-10s come around again and attack the Kraken simultaneously.
