He had some in his grenade belt, i just forgot to mention it.
D.Dark: *staggers to a manhole and dives in* (In Japanese) Who is this guy? He doesn't even have any significant amount of power within him and yet...
Scout: *saw the fight and now requests for help* It's him sir, And he was fighting some dude in a gasmask who likes throwing bombs. Ah! Sending coordinates.
Price: Understood. Hey Fulmer! It's time for payback!
Fulmer: *grins* Alright men! Let's move out! *he, Holt and 3 other marines move out in the same SUV Wilkinson used*
Shameless Self-promotion ho!It felt like Mitchell was in a world of pain...
But he had to fight on. Loading a grenade into the UGL, Mitchell caught his breath.
By the way, Strigon, how will we do respawning? I'm thinking that if a character dies, then they slowly heal until they're back to good repair. That way, a respawned character can't just leap back into the fray and kill weakened foes.
Locking you up on radar since '09If they are merely critically injured, if not then they are simply replaced by an Ersatz
-The SUV speeds through the ruined city-
-The dogfight over Puna AFB still rages on and on another battlefield Chiron and the 3 others are meeting up with the Port Patterson attack force-
Wolkenwand: *in his F-22C* This country is actually pretty beautiful, particularly Mt. Nevra.
Joker: *in an F-15S/MTD* Bleh... I prefer Griswall, They had a really big shopping mall there.
Kormoran: *in a Mi G-29* How'd you know it was a mall?
Chiron: Okay cut the chatter gents. We're almost there.
LAF flight lead: So you guys are the rest of Vidarr Team? (scoffs) Let's see what you mercs got!
Wolkenwand: Is that a challenge?
Joker: Hey! losers gets to give the winners free beer for a month!
Flight Lead: You're on!
-The combined flights head for Port Patterson-

Shameless Self-promotion ho!Hm... in theory, if we use Captain Ersatzes, then we're technically no longer playing as our avatars/characters. And this coming from the guy who is no longer displaying his Captain Mitchell avatar because he wanted a little change. Then again, I'd rather keep things simple in terms of revival.
His vision and hearing returning, Mitchell could barely hear a SUV engine.
Now, if that's anything like a Panhard, then two grenades should crack it open.
The problem was that he didn't know where it was.
The UGL is stupidly overpowered in GRAW.
Locking you up on radar since '09-The SUV stops in a corner just meters from the alley where Mitchell is and the 5 passengers make their way out-
Fulmer: *pulls down his IR goggles* Now that bastard can't hide from us...
Holt: *loads his Dragunov with special AP rounds designed to punch through walls*
Marnie: *activates the heartbeat monitor attached to his AK-74*
Shameless Self-promotion ho!Seeing the diamonds, Mitchell darts out of cover and fires a grenade at the engine block of the SUV.
The first grenade usually renders the vehicle inoperable while killing anyone too close (you have to be standing right next to the explosion almost); the second results in a catastrophic explosion which tends to kill anyone about a street width away from the vehicle.
With a practiced and quick series of movements borne of doing something many, many times before, Mitchell pops the grenade out and has soon lobbed another one in the direction of the SUV.
The two grenades required to take out a lightly armoured vehicle take about 10 seconds tops.

Locking you up on radar since '09-Fulmer and the others dive out of the way when the 1st grenade hit-
Holt: You ain't getting away this time!!! *fires at Mitchell as he popped out of cover, his armor offering no protection against Holt's AP bullets and runs to cover*
Fulmer: *fires a grenade of his own from his UGL before diving to cover*
-The other marines take cover and be as far way from the SUV as possible as the 2nd grenade came for them-
Shameless Self-promotion ho!The SUV goes up in flames (and hops slightly from the force of it), catching at least a few Marines in the fireball. A storm of shrapnel zips through the air, striking both Mitchell and the Marines that are still standing.
Mitchell tumbles as the shot hits him but keeps firing. Though it is painful to do so, he fires his own UGL again at the Marine position.
The grenade fired by the man with the UGL misses Mitchell entirely as a result of Scott tumbling.
Speak about luck...
He selected the CrossCom option called "Airstrike" and designated the Marine position.
They'd be over the battlefield in a few moments...
Yep, the casualties are going to wrack up as a result of that. The reason why some Marines were still caught by the explosion is that the grenades are rather fast.
Locking you up on radar since '09Holt: *his armor protected him from the shrapnel and fires from a diner counter*
Fulmer: *gets up from being blown away then runs towards an alley*
Grenadier: *fires an incendiary grenade at Mitchell's position*
Marine: *he and his slightly injured partner fire away at Mitchell, making sure he can't move out of cover*

Shameless Self-promotion ho!Mitchell groaned as the fire peppered his position, and kicked the incendiary grenade away from himself (though he sustained burns doing so).
They're quite good...
A mighty roar filled the air as a group of aircraft drew near.
But I'm better.
Missiles and bombs lanced down on the Marines' position, wreaking havoc and general destruction. Even if anyone survived the onslaught, they would probably be in no condition to fight. Of course, Mitchell wasn't doing much better.
The jets cleared the city limits within minutes, returning to whence they came.
Locking you up on radar since '09Holt: *pushes a piece of concrete that fell on him* GOD DAMMIT! WHY DID THE POLEMARCH LEAVE HAVE TO LEAVE?!
Grenadier: *emerges from a table he was hiding under* Oh gee i dunno? Maybe it's because THEY HAD TO HELP TAKE OVER OUR FUTURE BIRTHPLACE.
Fulmer: *groans as he drags himself to the Diner, as the shrapnel hit him on the leg pretty badly*
-The 2 marines have been blown aside by the explosions-
Scout: *takes aim and fires at Mitchell from the rooftop*
D.Dark: *peeks from the manhole to see Mitchell fighting the marines* (in Japanese) Maybe I should wait till they're all gone.
Shameless Self-promotion ho!I am rapidly growing to love that grenadier, even if he is hell bent on killing Mitchell.
The Scout's shot went dangerously close to Mitchell's head. Whipping his gun upward, he opened fire.
Turning his attention back to the main Marine position, he fired at Fulmer.
It's unlikely to hit, but what's Mitchell going to do?
Fulmer: *freezes as the shots go over and around him*
Grenadier: *fires a HE grenade at Mitchell's position, exploding right behind him*
Scout: *ducks behind cover and pops out, shooting again*
Shameless Self-promotion ho!Marine: *helps his partner up then they try and flank Mitchell by going through the alley and popping out on the other side*
Grenadier: *ducks under the counter*
Holt: *fires from the counter's entry*
Fulmer: *continues to drag himself*
Bye.

Shameless Self-promotion ho!Googled that Doctrine Dark dude. I'll post the link if anybody asks for it. Still undecided as far as avatar(not that I'm really trying), although Cryptosporidium crossed my mind. Probably too overpowered(in case you're listening, Rallyfan, yes he can lift a tank if leveled up enough).
Is it just me, or is Strigon now playing more than five different characters on one avatar?

Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman.-The 2 marines pull back to cover and suppress Mitchell with blindfire-
Wolkenwand: Bomb's away. *drops a JDAM at a docked frigate*
Joker: Fox three! *fires 4 AMRAAMS at 4 AAF JA-37s*
Kormoran: Fox one! *fires an AA-10 at an AAF Chinook*
-The LAF flight engage the SPAAGs and SAMs with their F4 wild weasels-

Shameless Self-promotion ho!Mitchell tosses a flashbang and a cooked frag grenade down toward the two marines, exposing as little of himself as possible to the gunfire.
Hm... well, if you're going to choose a new character, then you may want to select one that is strong, but not too strong, and that you can play as easily.
Locking you up on radar since '09-The Marines run as far away from the grenade as possible-
Holt: *fires an AP bullet that pierced through the wall Mitchell was hiding behind*
Grenadier: *pulls Fulmer to safety*
Shameless Self-promotion ho!^^ Well, Shadwell crossed my mind earlier this morning. He'd be pretty easy to figure out. Wonder if I can find a picture of him...
Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman.Well, why don't you play as him?
The crack of the rifle caused Mitchell to instinctively duck, while the frag grenade still detonated close to the two Marines.
Peering out of cover, Mitchell fired a burst at the Grenadier and Fulmer before moving to a further away position.
A small videofeed appeared in the upper right portion of his goggles.
"Mitchell, we have something to tell you..."
Locking you up on radar since '09Holt: *aims lower and fires* Heh.
Scout: *fires accurately*
Grenadier: *nearly tumbles as the rounds perforated his armor*
Fulmer: *grabs on tight to keep his comrade from tumbling over*
Marine: *the shrapnel hit his shoulder* Ah! Son of a bitch!
Shameless Self-promotion ho!^^'Cause the search only got one picture with his name on it, and it's of a freaking Cute Shotaro Boy. Damned unreliable fanartists. Guess I'll keep thinking.

That was kind of confusing. Are you saying Doctrine Dark had a flashbang in his hand, or that he gave Mitchell a "present"?
Mitchell shook his head.
This might just be my toughest battle yet...
