Enter The Arena... As Your Avatar! (Version 2: No Supernaturals)

Just as stated in the title. Only characters that do not possess supernatural abilities are allowed to partake in this battle. Your character may be a Super-Soldier with psychic powers, but if they are enabled with power an order of magnitude above that needed to lift tanks(Modern seventy ton MBTs. And yes, I'm looking at you, Mr. Marek.) they are banned from competition. In essence, if your avatar is of a character placed higher than level 2 on the Super Weight scale, they cannot compete.

Now, to begin...

*The Ghosts of Razgriz were on a routine air patrol. Their black F-22A Raptors were fitted with AIM-9X Sidewinder(a call of "Fox Two" tells you they've fired one) and AIM-120C AMRAAM("Fox Three" is this one fired) air-to-air missiles and AGM-154ER Joint Standoff Weapon("SOD launched" announces this one) air-to-surface missiles, with external weapons payloads fitted. They were flying at about 800 miles per hour on supercruise.*

Ah, a challenger. Your only problem is is that I knew you were there.

AWACS Oka Nieba: "Enemy flak guns are firing at a set of false targets I planted by hacking their air defense radars. I'm now feeding you targeting data for the enemy guns, 300 miles away."

Blaze: "SOD launched."

Yeah, I know, I'm using a GPS guided missile with a range of three hundred miles that unleashes a cluster bomb. Sorry.

Ach, curse you!

Conscript: Hey, what is tha-

-the flak cannon explodes spectacularly-

Commander: No matter. We Have Reserves. Send in the MiG fighters!

-a squadron of MiG fighter planes emerge from a concealed soviet airbase, and open fire on the Raptors wih air-to-air missiles-

Mig Pilot: Soviet power supreme!

Blaze: "Razgriz, time for some target practice! Blaze, engaging!"

Edge: "Edge, engaging!"

Archer: "Archer, engaging!"

Swordsman: "Swordsman, engaging!"

Blaze: "Fox three!" I just launched AIM-120C AMRAAM missiles, fyi.

-two fighters are stot down, the remaining three return fire with M-Type Matryoshka air-to-air missiles-

Crap! I gotta leave. Let's say the soviets retreated for now.

Edge: "These fighters are very unsophisticated. They should be no problem."

Archer: "Nagase? Has something gotten into you?"

Edge: "What? No, of course not! Edge, Fox Two!"

*The remaining three MiGs are shot down in mere seconds, without scoring a single hit, and Oka Nieba tells the Razgriz that the enemy have decided to retreat. The Razgriz immediately cease fire and return to patrol mode.*

Suddenly, a Geodude threw a rock at the jet fighter! He had defeated Garchomp before, this was nothing compared to the Game-Breaker.

*Edge banks hard, narrowly missing the boulder.*

Edge: "What the..."

Blaze: "I think I saw enough of the trajectory to know where that came from! Razgriz, new target: enemy ground unit throwing large rocks at us!"

Swordsman: "My radar's locked on but my missiles aren't tracking! It has no heat signature!"

Blaze: "No problem, just use your radar-guided AMRAAMs. Fox Three!"

==> A SBURB PLAYER once again finds their session has been rerouted to the arena. Moving quickly, the cursor builds some stairs into the sky, making obstacles that will be tough for the jets to dodge.

Blaze: "In some kind of obstacle course!" *hard maneuvers to evade* "Whoa, ah! Holy crap!"

Swordsman: "How bad is it in there?"

Blaze: "Far worse than those tunnels Pops led us through!"

Archer: "Oh my god, that bad?!"

Blaze: "I just hope it ends soon!"

iTroper, powers like that are pretty explicitly banned in the OP. Anything that would qualify as above level 2 on the Super Weight scale is out. Cease, desist and change avatars, or leave. Your call.

-A Fullback sweeps into the arena, staying low to make use of radar clutter-

Good idea, this. The supernatural stuff bordered on godmodding sometimes.

A pair of Blackburn Buccaneer strike fighters enter the combat area at an attitude of 30 ft to avoid detection and prepare to attack.

-For reference, I'm staying as the Demo-

-a soviet MCV appears, unpacks into a Construction Yard, and a Power Plant, Barracks, War Factory, and Airfield are quickly built-

The Buccaneers prepare to launch radar-guided missiles at the power plant.

-the Fullback spots the Buccaneers and starts tailing them from a fair distance away-

-a squad of MiG fighter jets take off from the airfield, and fire air-to-air missiles at the Buccaneers-

Copilot Bucc 1: "Sir, I'm picking up a fighters, a few miles away, tracking us, some launch missiles."

Pilot Bucc 1: "Roger. Any danger to our attack?"

Copilot Bucc 1: "No sir."

Pilot Bucc 1: "Proceed as planned."

Pilot Bucc 2 & both copilots: "Yes, sir."

-each Buccaneer launches an AS-30L air-to-ground missile at the Soviet powerplant and break away into opposing directions, launching flares-

Commander: Activate the Iron Curtain!

-the power plant suddenly glows red, and the missiles impact without causing damage-

Commander: Fighters, engage!

MiG Pilots: Yes sir!

-the fighters open fire on the buccaneers-

Both Buccaneers fly evasive maneuvers, still launching flares.

I just realised that the Buccaneer has no air-to-air weapons whatsoever. Oops.

-the Su-34 pounces on one of the Buccaneers and fires a R-27 Alamo-
