I believe Morven used to edit there, long ago, so I sent him a PM.
This "interesting" bit is the bit referring to other people saying, basically, TV Tropes Will Ruin Your Life? It may help if you tie in the fact that we have a page to refer to that and that it appears on our merchandise if this is a reaction to the earlier editing over the slogan.
As a longtime Wikipedia editor (TenPoundHammer), I can see where he's coming from — it's generally not a good idea for an article about a Wiki to use one of the wiki's own pages, since wikis can be edited. But in this case there's also a secondary source to confirm the info, so it's fine.
If he keeps removing it, I'll file a notice about editwarring.

Indeed, I believe there's about 3 Wikipedia policies that suggest users with personal attachments to the subject edit sparingly on the subject's article (i believe WP:COI is one of them)
I'm semi-retired from Wikipedia editing but I suppose I could fix up the wording in that paragraph that would satisfy both parties if need be.

Stomping on your fingers as you're clinging on to the abyssCan't deleted post. Unless we removes you from the threads entirely.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"

Could we get some other eyes on the Wikipedia article
? Some moron going by the handle "Super mario fan" (sic) has got it in into his head that the only interesting part of the article has to be cut for some reason, and I've been sucked into an edit war over it. (I'm "speededdie," on Wikipedia).
Anyone who knows how to work the system over there or who could at least help make it look like I'm not the only one who cares could do us a good turn.
Goal: Clear, Concise and Witty
