Oh sweet, I'm almost definitely going to hate it. I look forward to sniping every moment of dropped characterization, and nitpicking even the slightest deviation.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise. And let's not be pessimists, deviation from source material doesn't always mean Rosario To Vampire levels of bad.
Well as usual I'll be present to wage holy war against nitpickes and haters like a good Templar....

As long as the ecchi don't go beyond as it should. The sexual tension between the Urabe and his boyfriend is what attracted me to this manga XD.
Thinking about it a bit, I'm probably going to be the only one that likes the anime. My expectations are so low, there's almost no way I won't be able to say, "Ehn, better than I expected.", while those dreaming it might be adequate will be left to say, "So much worse than I hoped..."

#IceBearForPresidentI'm not against sexual tension, merely it's prevalence in works that could do without it, or do with less of it.
However given the pervasiveness of sexual tension in other school works shows I don't expect them to mess it up here, in a work that is arguably entirely about awkward adolescent romance with a strange girl, and sharing a special bond through exchange of bodi... Well anyway, that aside I feel this anime could work out* .
What else has Mad House done? Hmmm... Surprisingly little that I've watched, but I'm sure having done stuff like Claymore, High School Of The Dead, Chobits and Paprika (pretty much the only thing of theirs' I've watched) gives them at least some qualification to adapt something like this.

Here is an example of how MIND JARRING the sexual tension is:

I really like the manga (what I've read of it - I kind of dropped off around the 25-chapter mark), but I have very little hopes for the anime. The story strikes an extremely fine balance as far as how explicit they're capable of going, and an anime will undoubtedly push it too far into fanservice at the expense of plot and characterization and the whole thing will fall apart at the seams and become totally worthless.
But I'll probably watch it anyhow.
Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone. So far as I know, the specific company hasn't been named yet. Madhouse may be considered a front runner since they did the author's last manga. Since Manga -> Anime adaptations frequently suffer from signal loss, and Finagle's Law suggests that the more you like a manga, the more likely this is to happen, it's best to follow the creed of the Happy Pessimist: "Always expect the worst, then when the worst happens it's only what you expected. Anything else is a happy surprise."

Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise. You deal with things your way, I'll deal with them mine. But frankly this sort of thing is more common than not, and I have no reason to believe this will be any exception, and tons of experience that the odds are against an MGX anime being an unqualified success, from my perspective at least.

Meh, if I like it, I'd be bashing pessimism against this show as well too, just warning you.
For really: if you don't like it, quit watching and don't talk about it. You'll ruin the healthy atmosphere.
But I doubt it would be bad: the manga is great.

Urabe was really cute in this one, I'd have been stabbed to death by now if I were her boyfriend.
Anime news, it's going to be an original storyline. Next chapter will be out in a few more days, MGX will be a short non-storyline chapter, and further details about the anime.

A short Animated Actors episode, but not as many details as I would have hoped. The anime is scheduled to start in April. Animation production is by Hoods Entertainment(makers of Seikon No Qwaser, the Aki Sora oavs..., and... Manyu Hiken Cho...) with Ayumu Watanabe(long time Doraemon director)* directing.
