Those of you who follow the random thoughts thread will know I just finished an Archive Binge of this.
I love pretty much everything about it. The art is gorgeous, and the plot is subtly conveyed without being too dense or convoluted. The way it's told is nice too - the alttext means you can just look at the pretty pictures if you want, without the text getting in the way.
I also appreciate the fact that the artist apparently has a very specific direction in mind, seeing as how they've apparently already decided exactly how long it's going to be.
It kind of makes me nervousad to think that it's only got a sixth of the way to go.
It's actually interesting you bring up the thing about looking at only the art. She even brings up that possibility explicitly on the site, but on my first readthrough, I was like 60%, 80% about the text in terms of attention. It wasn't until my second or third readthrough that I really slowed down, wasn't rushing, took a really good look at each panel. It was like Fridge Brilliance, but with artistic beauty :'D

[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.I was feeling Hype Aversion to this but then binged it all today, and I have to say, I liked it.
Is the artist known for anything else? *_*
And the text didn't bother me. I like it that way, actually.
Also the boy reminds me so much of Piel it's not even funny.
