Why, exactly, doesn't this comic have any threads here?

http://boxerhockey.fireball20xl.com/

Sure, the Schedule Slip is pretty bad. But my word this comic is the funniest thing ever. The art is also just top-notch.

Yeah, it's pretty excellent.

The flashback had a little too much Mood Whiplash, but it tempered it out with the humor (Rittz IS Batman)

Ryan has gotten much better at draw the ladies, so that's good too. I'm curious to see how the rest of the date goes.

I wasn't that taken with this when I first noticed it a couple years ago, but it looks to me like it's improved a fair bit since then. I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Also, anyone else buy his other comic? Painfully short, but good. All the art in the back helped make up for it.

Since he shaped up and became a professional athlete, I guess. I mean, he's as dumb as a sack of bricks, but he must have some manner of competence or he wouldn't have made it onto an internationally competitive sports team.

To me it sounds like "It's Laundry Day!" is some sort of safe code, since it seemed like rittz seemed confused about what his arm was doing.

Seemed more to me like one of their standard game moves. Considering how brutal the sport can be, it doesn't surprise me.

I think it's just a standard game move. With a code name, Remember this? Could be "laundry day" is just another name for a move. Rittz, playing well enough to be pro, just has it down to muscle memory.

And yeah, The art kicks ASS.

So...clotheslining someone then punching them in the face so hard they pass out/die/otherwise stop moving is a standard game move?

Also, the art kicks ass.

His expression and reaction lead me to believe that this was an involuntary action. Also, note that the big guy's trigger words are in quotes.

So, between the yellow box and quotes, it's pretty safe to say it's a Trigger Phrase, right?

Also, it seems to be an automatic response from Rittz that he's not even aware of, unlike the 3:10 to Yuma. Although that doesn't explain the fact that he seems pretty different when he's punching the guy in the face...and then pretends nothing happened.

The art is very expressive and colorful, traits that I wish was in my art. It's very well written too.

Seriously, this webcomic needs more love.

Also, I'm wondering why is Skip doing all this, I mean, he almost got his childhood friend Rittz murdered, that´s a agood friend there

Because nothing really bad has happened to him personally yet? Seriously. It's all fun and games until it happens to you.
