Oh yeah, when Beady Long Legs starts falling from the SKY near the beginning of Perplexing Pool… Not too big a threat, but seriously, what the heck?
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!Oh yeah, the Bulbear is waaaay worse. And that Challenge level with the three of them? I'm not sure how I got the purple flower on it. I think it involved a ton of ultra bitter spray.
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!Day 30 is also when a couple useful things show up, like the Wistful Wild bugs. Could be worse. Could be raining.
...Which actually might suck really bad, if you're Pikmin-sized.

...I like that idea. Have an area be un-accessible for a day and the next one the water has risen, opening up different areas that can only be initially reached by the blue Pikmin. Add in a purchasable weather control/change effect or machine, and you can have droughts and snow effects as well.

That's not as powerful as a raindrop as big as them falling from several miles in the air.
I hope they change that in this game though. I don't expect them to be hurt but just because they're water resistant doesn't mean they shouldn't be knocked back temporarily. More realistic reactions like that are things I'd like to see in this game.

Random weather sounds cool enough, but I imagine that random factor would make speed runs nearly impossible to coordinate if you get an unwanted day of rain right in the middle of it or something...
Some way to control the weather, even in subsequent playthroughs, would work nicely. Or maybe make it feasibly possible to obtain a way to do that before weather effects become prominent if you're fast enough.
Otherwise it sounds like a cool idea. Especially if it makes some areas blocked and others accessible. More variety in an area per day.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! And once it's unfrozen, Blues can explore the lakebed of it and find stuff, or maybe there's a passage below the ice that leads to a separate area, preferably with a Door to Before so that all Pikmin can access it on any day after Blues find it on thawed days.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! You would have to have a way to control the weather because having it be sunny one time, rain the next, and snow after that would not make sense in a game completed in "days" and not seasons.
Hmm... another way to do the same sort of thing is to have power-ups for blue and red Pikmin... GOT IT! Elemental bomb-rocks! Blues can pick up ice ones that freeze water and reds can pick up fire ones that melt ice. Can't exactly set reds on fire and have blues be very cold unless you want mechanics that require losing some Pikmin (from drowning in water or being frozen in ice)

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!It is not a "group intelligence". Rather, individual ants respond to phermones and the environment in ways that help the group while releasing phermones/brushing against each other for further communication. These responses are instinctual, and there are a lot of possible ones. Also, the queen does not "command them"; her primary role is egg-laying.
Sorry, I just like the hormigas too much to let this fly.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Maybe the game just has areas themed after seasons like in 2, and the relevant weather effects only appear in those areas? Winter would have snow and blizzards, Spring would have rain, Summer would have both Droughts and Storms (which could even incorporate electrical hazards!), and Fall could maybe have rain and strong winds.

I'd like to have pinks be able to preform mid air swarming. That would make dealing with those (bad word)snagrets. The first time I battled against the p snagret I said (bad word) and just let thirty piks die so I could kill it. And the time when you have to fight on quicksand? Nightmare.

I've never really had an issue with either of the Snagrets. Just so long as you only go on the attack when they try to come up beak first. If you get your 'mins on and off fast enough you'll be fine.
Quicksand does make it a bit of a pain though.

Well, day 30 is when the game starts putting in more dangerous enemies, so you want to finish up quickly unless you want a difficult time.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!
