I've seen a bunch of suggested alternative sites, though I haven't heard much about them since about a week after the purge. The trouble being 1. basically anything that isn't just a tumblr clone works pretty differently, so isn't going to be an easy replacement and 2. there's a ton of different ones, so no one site is picking up all the traffic.
Part of the problem is that Tumblr didn't do a lot of its things particularly well to begin with, but people are just used to that sort of thing by now, and it was the only one that combined these functions together in the way that it did, albeit haphazardly. So even if other sites do various aspects of Tumblr's functionality differently, just by being competent at it, then that combination of inertia and convenience is gone.

You do realize that barely anyone on Tumblr is actually like that?
Porn sites are actually generally pretty ethical and well-moderated, because they know how fucked they'd be if feds found them hosting illegal content.

Ah, perhaps so. I feel so silly and judgemental at Tumblr at the moment due to how, some time ago, a post of mine got ✌criticized✌ by a misogynistic gay Tumblrina for having a female character during a drawing event, and everyone participating that event called out that Tumblrina for that. All I could do was block that a-hole after reading his posts.
Another reason why I left Tumblr because, as a pr0n hoarder and someone who uses too many tabs, I don't want to clog up my phone and tablet any further.
Pardon if this is the wrong place to suddenly vent out.

Funny thing that some people have pointed out is that with all the porno gone, a lot of the nonsensical discourse seems to have lost its effectiveness because there’s no longer an audience of horny posters for the stereotypical Tumblrina to yell at. If someone complains about how you not watching She-Ra is homophobic but no one is around to hear it, did it really happen?

The bots are still there. The auto-tagging algorithm is trash.
There are some complaints towards Porn Hub, but mostly things that can be said of any large player in the industry.
It's never really been hard to avoid the discourse , just be willing to unfollow people.
