I've seen advertisements. They're disguised as normal posts, only they're from blogs you don't follow. I saw one for Sanjay And Craig just a few minutes ago.
Oh great, I thought the advertisement was restricted to the side of the page with a random post, rather than shoving it onto my dashboard, because now I got an entry about that Ethan Hawke movie The Purge, and I'm sure I don't follow Universal's Tumblr.
I can't have you close, so I become a ghost and I watch you, I watch you.Yeah, they're trying to do more advertising now. Not that surprising. What I'm doing is blocking every single tumblr that does a sponsored post. It won't prevent me from seeing the ad in the first place, but it makes me feel a bit better about it. I'm a bit surprised that they're actually letting me block a tumblr that advertises, though.

I wish to join the fray as a TV Tropes contributor who has a Tumblr. :V
Tumblr is fun.
At least, when one does not find oneself crossing the path of the hardest of hardcore crazy peeps.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.I got my first Tumblr dashboard ad today. It was for Hanson + The Jonas Brothers.
Are you shitting me Tumblr.
Anywhom, my tumblr is http://mrmallard.tumblr.com/
for those who want to check it out. I only follow back people who post in bursts and/or sporadically, to keep my daily crawl below 30 minutes. If you want to follow me I should warn you: I get very heated about some things, I can be a hypocrite and there are times where I will insert swearing into places where it is optional.
Power is Sexy?
Plus, Loki doesn't exist. He's a fictional character. It's like one giant elaborate roleplay.

Read my stories! This year's model is Mads Mikkelsen. Or how about Alex the lesbian drug mule.
Criminal characters are more vivid and enticing and I think it's healthy to live vicariously through them.
What bothers me (and give me your thoughts on this) is the current glut of sociopath "heroes". The feedback I keep getting is that the world is a cesspool and kindness will get you killed. Is it me?
Incidentally, there aren't many female counterparts to Loki on tumblr. (Maybe Harley Quinn, but she straddles the line.) There are plenty of gun-twirling, judo kicking subdoms on TV, but they are antiheroes at best.
