I've been Bluelinked
Darker Than Black deals with people who can switch out bodies. One particular criminal just has to look into someone's eyes to take over their body, then make them commit suicide by falling off a building and switching back to his original body just moments before gravity takes over.

^^That's going to be too confusing for people who haven't seen the show. I've watched Darker Than Black and I still took a minute to figure out what was going on in that picture.
Reaction Image RepositoryI was thinking an image from Red Vs Blue of Church possessing someone. You can clearly tell what's going on (Spartan overlaid with translucent, white Spartan), plus the caption...
Heauegerkergerk!
It's not over. Not yet.2nd panel
, perhaps? A bit text heavy, but she's describing the trope pretty well, and it conveys the idea of possession pretty well.
Actually, it'd be even better to have the 2nd panel with the 4th panel's dialog, as it's even more on point.
Belief or disbelief rests with you.The problem with the Daredevil Image as well as the Genius Girl Image is that they seem to fall under that "Has to rely on text, image alone is unclear" complaint that keeps the Heroic Sociopath discussion going. If we're going to give an image to this, it should be instantly recognizable that it's the same Body Snatcher across differen hosts- perhaps a recognizable trait or something definitive.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Anyone have a screen capture of the Gargoyles episode Possession? It showed the spirits leaving the bodies with faces and everything.
Question: how does a picture of a single body swap make this Body Surf?
Isn't a single possession just Grand Theft Me?
I have a message from another time...Article: "[W]hen a Body Snatcher is constantly switching from body to body, they are said to Body Surf."
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I believe The Phoenix from the X Men has possessed a number of people. Rachel Summers, Jean Grey, Emma Frost, not to mention all the previous Phoenix Forces.
Was thinking the Beast with a Billion Backs, but that is simultaneous (and not serial) possession. Can anyone think of a frame (etc) where a Body Snatcher is hopping between two or more bodies? (Looked through the examples, nothing I am familiar with has such a frame afaik.)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.

What's going on in this picture? Some sort of weird fire monster(possibly a fox?) about to attack a blind girl? I've never encountered this Gunnerkrigg Court thing before but I assume this picture makes sense if you've read it.
This is still a signature.
