This thread is for quick questions. A "quick question" is a question which has a relatively quick, generally factual answer; a question which is not likely to inspire an extended discussion.
e.g.
Quick Question: How tall is an average ten-year-old boy?
Not a Quick Question: Why are Americans obsessed with guns?
Quick Question: Why is ALS sometimes called Lou Gehrig's Disease? Who was Lou Gehrig?
Not a Quick Question: In Alan Dean Foster's Thranx Commonwealth series, is Pip a Mary Sue?
Get the idea?

Troper PageWould I be able to make a Works page on Wal Mart?
They're a work of fiction, right?

Troper PageWhy is it that having too many sockpuppets gets you automatically banned? In my mind, it'd be better if the system sent you a message first, giving you a warning to delete your extra sockpuppets or else you'll get banned.
v - I'd rather take it up here first in case the question's been answered before.

"Wax on, wax off..." "But Mr. Miyagi, I don't see how this is helping me do Karate..." "Pubic hair is weakness, Daniel-san!"^ It might be more effective to raise this point in Wiki Talk. FWIW, though, I agree with you.
Heapers’ HangoutIt's a trapdoor ban. IF you are going to make that many accounts you should know stuff about the site beforehand.
Like, it punishes you for not knowing the rules on sockpuppeting like the rest of the world.

Troper PageBesides, if you're the sort of person who goes around with ten sockpuppets, you would not be a wanted element on this website anyway.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection!Silly boy
Also, anyone know if Lux Aeterna is overplayed and a no-longer-dramatic soundtrack, or was it featured in major works very few times?
Troper PageDo you mean the one in Requiem For A Dream? 'cos that's a traditional name for a piece of music, meaning there are at least a dozen pieces by that name.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Nope, sorry, it's still too overused.
It's in fact so overused that you can't even use it to make a joke about how often it's overused.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection!Apparently so. It runs in my family although I don't have it.

no one will notice that I changed thisYes, because the recessive genetic defect is on the X chromosome. Since males only have one, they can't have the dominant non-defect allele on their other.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Looks like it: The genes that induce colorblindness can be found in the X-chromosome, so if all your X-chromosomes have it (twice as unlikely for women, having two X-chromosomes), you're colorblind.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection! If I made a sockpuppet named Fukn, would I get in trouble? What about Fuh Ken or Fukken or Fuqken?
Troper Page

Why is it that sometimes, when I close my eyes, I can see small simple shapes of various colors?
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.
